NBC Gives The Cast Of Glee Some Cold Turkey - Dumped From Macy's Parade
It's like NBC is purposefully screwing themselves over - over and over again!
The cast of Glee was set to pen a deal this week slating them to appear in the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The hit FOX show was sure to bring in a lot of tweeny eyeballs to the broadcast, but now, their appearance is a no go.
Though Macy's extended the invite to the cast of singing sensations, NBC put the kibosh on it and told the department store giant to pull them from the line-up.
Neither NBC, Macy's, or Fox provided a reason.
What's the beef, NBC? Got something against choral music?!

This is easy, they aren't apart of NBC's television line-up and they don't want to promote a show that isn't on their own network…
Its one of those "cut your nose off despite your face" type situations.
NBC's new slogan is no longer 'Proud As A Peacock' it is "Well we at least beat out the CW".

I love Glee, and I would've loved to see them in the parade. I think it's ridiculous that they're not going to be able to be in it. They're perfect for the Macy's Parade!!
Stupidity. NBC has no shows worth watching and because they're jealous of the awesomness that is Glee, they dropped them from the parade.
I understand they're on competing networks, but NBC couldn't allow this in the spirit of the season?? NBC's ratings are in the gutter and only getting worse as time goes by, you'd think they'd want a lot of people tuning in. I love the cast of Glee. It's too bad they got caught up in this nonsense, I'm sure they'd be excited to participate in an American tradition like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

No, NBC has got something against promoting another show from another network. Duh. We may not all be glued to the T.V., but I bet you almost every house in America tunes to the Macy's Parade at least SOMETIME on Thanksgiving. They're not going to give FOX free advertising.
OMG!!! I LOVE LOVE GLEE and have NOT watched the Macy's parade in YEARS!!! I would have watched this year if they were to have a performance. Booo on who ever made this decision. I don't care about the competing networks b/c I am watching Glee whenever it is on. Period.
NBC execs make another idiotic bonehead decision. Like having 7 boring white guys on SNL who all do the same thing and firing two women who were funny! Gotta keep that male-female SNL quota at 4:1 and the people of color down to only one. They haven't had a black woman on that show in 20 years. I miss MADTV!
