Is Penelope Cruz Madonna's new bestie?
The two were spotted dining out together at Mr. Chow last Friday in New York City with their respective love interests — Penelope with rumored fiance Javier Bardem and Madonna with model Jesus Luz.
Madge was said to be sipping on martinis while Penelope stuck to non-alcoholic beverages, further implying that the actress could be pregnant!
Pene and Madonna were also hanging out the next night at a dinner for Spanish director Pedro Almodovar!
We love this fierce BFF pairing, but we sincerely hope Her Madgesty isn't gunning for a role in an Almodovar film.
Stick to what you're GREAT at, 'bb!

The rumors about Penelope's being pregnant have been floating around for about three months…or more. Now here's the thing Perez. When a woman gets pregnant, after a certain amount of time, …IT SHOWS. Are her boobs bigger? Are her hips wider? I think not.
Good they are both hot and talented!
I was very thin also so when I got pregnant you couldn't tell I was pregnant until I was 6 months along. So she could possibly be… but who knows. But why has she been wearing jackets to cover? Style? She usually wears very sexy revealing clothes.
I actually thing Madge would do well in an Almodovar film at this point. He's a funny dude and would probably bring her in for a one liner. Can't hurt her career at this point.
Ok.. Jesus Luz was not with them.. He was here in Brazil in my town called Fortaleza. He worked as a DJ at this huge party for over 70.000 people and I got the chance to be in the same VIP area that he was, And I gotta say that I was really desapointed.. he´s not as handsome as I thought he was, very small and thin, I guess he matches madge´s size and all.. but he is very funloving and play a nice set at the party
This story is not true! there were not a double date because Jesus Luz is in Brazil on tour for Dj works. Just google it up hes there about 3 weeks all ready in Brazil.
Pedro Almodóvar es un director que trabaja con estándares de calidad tan precisos y calculados, que a estas alturas, es el único que le puede sacar una buena actuación a una actriz tan tiesa como Madonna. Ojalá que sí le dé un papel para que que confirmemos que el Maestro es un ser de talento extraordinario…Madonnita saldría muy beneficiada, a ver si se saca esa espina por fin…necesita un buen director.

I have no peoblem with Madge making celeb friends but it totally sucks when she tries to force her beliefs on them. She is such a pushover and control freak. She's crazy!

I LOVE Pedro Movies! Madonna has adored him since the late 80's when she was obsessed with Antonio Bandaras. I like Madonna w/ Penelope. They are both fierce and extremely smart women. Madonna should totally do a Pedro movie. They are fun and vivacious. Madonna and Spanish culture always go good together. BTW, Madonna doesn't force her beliefs on her friends. They were probably just talking about a film project. Madonna has been getting into directing movies lately (and actually Filth and Wisdom wasn't bad at all).
