Mad Men Star Tells Ashton To Suck It!

In the November issue of GQ, Mad Men's January Jones recounts her tale to the top!
The former Abercrombie and Fitch model ditched her agency in New York to make it as an actor in El Lay, a common story which almost never pans out!
She definitely had some skeptics, including her former boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher!
"[He] was not supportive of my acting," said Jones. "He was like, I don't think you're going to be good at this. So – f— you! He only has nice things to say now – if anything, I should thank him. Because the minute you tell me I can't do something, that's when I'm most motivated."
We bet he's sorry!!
But, she's also quite the inspiration!
"I felt like, God, I'm miserable. I hate modeling," she continued. "When I moved back to New York, the agency said I owed them $20,000. So I left the agency and then – very quickly – decided to go to L.A. and try acting. Without any training."
And now, a Golden Globe-nomination and a hit series!
As much as we usually gag on stories about former models struggling to do something with greater meaning, we love her!

both Don and Betty Draper look perfect, but you hate/love them - she is not 2 dimensional - she is like alot of housewives of the 50's/60's - love the show, the women are as interesting as the men - JJ's chest sure looks alot bigger on this cover than on the show - i wish they would have put her in one of the fabulous outfits she wears on Madmen with her real body for this cover. She looks so classy and elegant on Madmen - this cover looks just like alot of other covers you see every month

I've always liked Ashton, but let's face it, January Jones is a far better actor. (Karma, Ashton… it will always bite you in the butt.) Love everything about her. As Betty Draper she's absolutely superb.
