VERY Good Friend Gayle King Speaks Out About Oprah Lawsuit

Oprah's bestie and O Magazine editor at large Gayle King is upset about the recent lawsuit regarding the supposed sexual shenanigans on O's private jet.
Former employee Corrine Gehrls alleged that she was fired after two co-workers, including Gayle's daughter Kirby, claimed she had "inappropriate conduct" with the chief pilot. Gayle had plenty to address in a recent interview.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On her daughter Kirby:
"This is a young woman who graduated from Stanford last year who's now working on her master's, so to be characterized the way she's been characterized in this lawsuit is very stressful and upsetting to her and it's just wrong. So when she's upset, as her mother, it makes me upset…Kirby is a young woman who is just starting her life, so this is a very upsetting thing."
On Oprah being a target:
"And it's one of those things that — those of us who are close to Oprah know that she's an easy target for these kind of lawsuits….she's a very easy target, and then if you're in the inner circle, you now become a target."
On the truth of the matter:"But what I also know about these kind of lawsuits, these kind of opportunistic lawsuits, for lack of a better word, is that the truth always comes out," Gayle tells us. "I just look forward to the day that the truth will prevail, and I know it will in this case too. This is what's so upsetting to me. It's characterized like Oprah's running some hanky-panky airlines — nothing could be further from the truth."
We don't know about you, but a "hanky-panky airline" sounds like a good time to us!

Here's a young man, just starting out in his life who made a horrific error in judgment, getting lambasted by the talk show queen and her side kick.They showed him no mercy. I'm sure as a mother, that was a very hurtful feeling.

I guess this article was for all of us that Galye thinks are dumb-asses! Of course she is going to have nothing but good to say about her daughter and her BFF did we really expect anything less from her? Just because it is The Big O being sued! Maybe Oprah should have her staff including Galye and her college bound daughter investigated more throughly before putting them to work. There is always two sides to the story and it's not like T.B.O' can't afford to have this matter investigated more throughly. They claim that Oprah is a target that is true because she has money but another way to look at this is why would anyone in their right mind take on someone as wealthy as Oprah unless ( maybe the employee is telling the truth ) ya think? Whether or not the lawsuit has merit, if Kirby is a young, intelligent woman just starting out her life, then maybe being a tattle tail/rat/squealer is not the best way to start one out. Everyone has had random hanky panky at a time in their life and they shouldn't lose their job over it. I don't know about you, but Gail's daughter sounds like a little sneaky backstabbing bitch!

You are all morons. What Gayle was trying to say is that Kirby is NOT a flight attendant. I went to Stanford with her as well. She is in Graduate School, she couldn't possibly have time to be a full time member of O's staff and participate in a rigorous academic program. I don't know who or what is perpetuating these lies but this nonsense needs to stop. Let's think about the credibility of a random, opportunistic, pissed off flight attendant or Oprah Winfrey, someone millions of people tune into every day. It's an open and shut case but please do not believe everything you read, especially on this website and other blogs like it.
