This video is repulsing. First of all, how does this "John" guy expect anyone to take him seriously when the whole video is people trying to be funny and not making any sense at the same time. This would never pass. Just think about all of the problems that could make staying in a marriage unbearable, for example, being abused, abusing children, adultery, and so much more. Oh an one last thing, how does this relate to the gays?
i dont really agree because, though straight people do vote against gay marriages, i would say the vast majority of them have moved with the times and realised that you love who you love and its no ones business but your own - so therefore = why is it fair for them to not be able to get divorced. it doesnt mean all straight people are against divorce… if you get me? i bet im gonna get lots of hate for this :/

It relates to the gays because the religious groups fought against gay marriage based on the idea of the "sanctity" of marriage, and that it should be between a man and a woman. They used the terms like protect, sanctity, etc. The point this guy is trying to make is that for all their talk about "protecting" marriage, the divorce rate is sky high and they're not fighting against that….instead they're being religious bigots by not allowing gays to be married.

This bill is merely meant to show the hypocrisy of overturning gay marriage on the grounds that it hurts traditional marriage. As to the bill it would never pass and again is just a stunt. Alot of these points "till death do us part", etc., etc. I agree with. Marriage IS a responsibility. Traditional marriage IS under attack by divorce. It is a perversion of the Christian view of marriage (as is adultery which frees a person from their spouse's corruption), you ARE signing up to take care of one person for the rest of your life, single parent families are miserable (I'm in one and my boyfriend is still paying for what my mother did to my family). I think that people should have to go to marriage counseling for at least 6-9 months before even being able to file for divorce. I think people think they'll get married and if it doesnt work out then oh well they'll just get a divorce! They should make it more difficult to get married such as taking marriage classes and make it even more difficult to get a divorce.
