Gilmore Girls 2.0 : HBO Edition

Ever wished the women on the Gilmore Girls had a little more free range with their vernacular? (We mean in the filthy sense, of course!)

Well, the creator of the series, Amy Sherman-Palladino is headed over to HBO to write and executive produce another mother-daughter dramedy. The story is a little different this time around, following "three adult sisters, all writers who share the same apartment building with their literary lioness mother."

However, we're sure she'll bring the same kind of spunk and rapid fire banter you fans are used to. It'll just also have a lot more nakedness and foul language that you're not so used too.

Who's looking forward to this?

Such a trick! Amy Sherman-Pallidino needs to take her ass off television and do what she does best: Work the Ho stroll!

      definitely excited.
gilmore girls was one of the smartest shows on television, and i'm sure the new show will be just as witty.

    11. 11

      HELL YES!
Not that I even get HBO, but it would be a kick ass show.
And not gonna lie, I would hope the Gilmore Girls would make guest appearances just because they are so great in that setting.

Re: ClaraBow – I love Rory! She's all grown up now and played a doctor on the series finale of "E.R." What a gorgeous young lady. I wish Alexis B. all the best. And Lauren Graham, too.

so excited!! I love Amy Sherman P's humor. She's a great writer. it's great she'll be doing something that isn't a g rated dullfest like Gilmore Girls. So excited.

i thought Gilmore Girls was without a doubt one of the best ensemble shows ever…amazing writing, incredible cast…..it's only downbeat was that it's last season which should have been awesome was a drag due to Amy's lack of involvement.
Aside from 'the wire' which of course was a completely different genre, Gilmore was and is probably my all time fav show..(ok…along with The Wire, i'll also include M.A.S.H. in that top list)
If Amy's doing something new, I'm in….I'll watch anything she creates….and man..if she can cast Lauren and/or Alexis, so much the better…..
      :)

    23. 23

she's such a natural actress and her eyes are so pretty!!!!

HBO needs some more good shows. True Blood and Big Love are not enough. I actually watch more Showtime than HBO these days.

    33. 33

I love her eyes in this pic.

    34. 34

My dream is to see again gilmore's girl… but i can be content also with this new project… go amy go, u are a genius

    35. 35

that sounds like the most boring show in the world.

      wow

    41. 41

All "Writers"?? Ugh, it's so pathetic when actual writers can't even write about people outside their own job-sphere. how about giving at least one of them a real job?

    42. 42

      OMG! This is very exciting!

    43. 43

Writers??? Come on! Its not time to get delusional again, I mean there are a lot of smart people… and they dont have to be writers, its like neverending teen angst.
I hope she will be able to create this nice world everyone wants to be in. I love that. Why do hbo insist on being rude and naughty all the time?

    44. 44

I loved gilmore girls so cant wait to see what a.s.p. has in store for us!!!

    45. 45

      I still miss "Gilmore Girls."
