Inside sources at TLC are hinting that Jon & Kate Plus 8 will officially be over come late November!!!
Does this mean they'll disappear out of the public eye forever????
Probably not! (Ugh.)
Although TLC has yet to announce the demise of the show, sources say the network is running out of usable material for new episodes because production has come to a halt, so "they are taking what they have and seeing how many more episodes they can get out of it."
If Jon reconsiders allowing TLC to shoot the kids for the show, the network will continue with Kate Plus 8, but as of now, TLC "has no plans to film unless the situation is resolved."
We don't see Jon caving anytime soon, considering he's about as stubborn mature as a 9-year-old boy.

Thank You !!! There is a God. I am totally SICK of this whole family. Both of them are horrible parents. It was very clear that Jon did NOT want to do the show anymore and Kate bitched all the time . She is the FAME WHORE. Kate created the monster that Jon has turned into. Maybe now the kids can have some type of a normal childhood.

I loved watching the show until this season. The season opener really bothered me. They had changed so much. Personally, I don't see the disfunction in the children everyone refers to. Kate is always with them when she's not working, so when people say "who's taking care of the kids or go home and be with ur kids" is ridiculous to me. I don't think she has proven to be a bad mom at all. Jmo

Jon is the only sane voice in this whole mess - STOP FUCKING FILMING! And I could care less what his motives are. Someone needs to step up and say stop exploiting the kids - since Kate wants to ride that gravy train… forever!
Well, if he isn't going to allow filming, he had better be hunting up an IT job pretty quickly, because he has 8 children to support. Let's see, an IT guy might make about $60 K a year (just guessing here) and I can't imagine that buys a whole lot for 8 kids. He is stupid, stupid, stupid, and yes, I would have liked the show to continue. It is a REALITY show and shows don't get much more REAL than theirs did.

Re: Texas Mom – IT "guys" with degrees and a few Cisco certs can get entry at $80k. Any experience, and extra Cisco gets $125k. He could probably command somewhere around $250k easy. Think about it this way - at 22/24 or whatever age he was, he paid cash for not one, but TWO IVF treatments. That sure wasn't off Kate's "nursing" salary. Can you imagine what it would be like to have her at your bedside? Maybe she should get humbled by a slice of bedpan pie.

Why would they announce the whole change to Kate Plus 8 only to turn around and cancel everything. That doesn't make any sense.

Even though Jon’s name is not on the K+8 show, Jon can still be in it, if he chooses to. If he likes to do other grown-up shows (with club/bikinis scenes etc.), he is now free to do them without contradicting TLC’s conduct code.
They should have canceled this show a long time ago.
