Would Michael Jackson would have wanted the rehearsal footage of This Is It to be released????
According to sister La Toya's truthful opinion, no!
"Michael always wants to give his best. This is a rehearsal. He wasn’t giving his all," says La Toya.
She continued: "He loves to give his all always. That’s just the way he is. He wants people to see him at the top of the ladder and not half-stepping because he doesn’t want to do a full-out rehearsal."
Makes sense to us!
Even though Toy-Toy disagrees with the pending theatrical release of This Is It, she still loves Michael and will continue to support Michael in "any way [she] can."
Like blabbing to the press about her late brother any chance she gets!

I agree Michael never gave his all during rehearsal there is a lot of footage on youtube showing him during rehearsals and he half-asses the dance steps but is amazing when the actual concert starts. Just look at the bad tour rehearsal he hardly puts any effort in doing the right steps for smooth criminal but once he's on stage he knows exactly what to do. He was a true talent and would probably not want people to see this footage since he was a perfectionist when it came to his art.

Well its La Toya and her "Heart Don't Lie". I am more concerned with her still speaking of her brother in the present tense.
La Toya has been known to not be in step with the rest of the family, even once proclaiming her brother was a child molester, comments she later retracted.
She may have a bit of a point about the nature of rehearsals but ultimately this decision is way above her pay grade. Lets not forget she needs to stay in the limelight to promote her upcoming release.
Love Janet and she has the most success and overall talent, but the Jackson woman with the best voice is Rebbie. Check out "Centipede" (it hold up well) the song….written, produced, arranged, and backing vocals by Michael.

She's actually quite right. I don't think he would have approved, but its not like he has a say anymore. The Jackson family has shown just how money hungry they are though which is really sad. I bet he's spinning in his grave knowing his kids could be on tv like the Gosselins. God what is the world coming to when LaToya is the sound of reason? Lol..

she is right on this one. we all know that MJ never gave his all during rehearsals but when it came to concerts.. oh boy! he was the greatest performer.
Re: MyOpinionOnly – The Jackson Family wanted to BLOCK the movie during a hearing but AEG and SONYs lawyers, combined with the lawyer of the kids were in favour of it. MJs nephew testified that they didnt wanted this, but their decision gor overruled.
Katherine Jackson has also denied reports tha her grandkids, MJs children, are gonna appear on a relaityshow. That wont happen and it was a rumour, dont belive everything u read.

I agree. MJ was a perfectionist and he wasn't giving it his all during rehearsals. Same with this lame ass "This is it" song. If it was up to MJ's standards it would have been released by now but it has been sitting for over 25 years. Even Thriller wasn't up to his standards at first and they completely remixed the whole thing..THEN he was happy. It's sad that people will look at this rehearsal footage and think that's what the concert would have been like. He is ELECTRIC when he is on stage..they won't get to see that.
It's not about artistry. It's about money! Soon, an unknown recording of MJ and Tupac will surface.

I disagree with LaToya on this one… Michael tends to go all out during portions of rehearsals and he did release the footage from his Dangerous Tour rehearsals that he did at Neverland in the past.

I completely agree. I was actually saying the same thing. Why would anyone want to release a movie based on a Rehearsal? I mean, it's not telling the world anything that they didn't already know, and it wasn't meant to become a movie.
The reality is, if he was still alive, would anyone consider turning this into a movie?
I vote no. And no, I'm not going to see it.
I agree with LaToya for the first time ever. It seems more like a money grab and in poor taste to do this after he is gone. BUT it does give fans one last way to say goodbye and to cheer on their idol so why not. Not that I'll go see it but hey. That's me.

I agree that MJ would have certainly held himself back for just a rehearsal, and would have gone into overdrive as usual for the actual concert. But still I can't stand LaToya, she is a backstabbing, greedy, lying, attention seeker. I shall never forget how she went on talk shows for money to condemn MJ in his greatest hour of need. She even wrote a book, full of LIES about her family, tried to blackmail them for money or publish. The family refused to pay, and she actually published this tripe. Since MJ died she ia all over the place talking, talking, talking, all for MONEY and ATTENTION.
