New Law Named After Kanye West's Mother

The Governator of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, signed The Donda West bill into a law this week.
California Assembly member Wilmer Amina Carter said of the new law:
"This measure will better protect our citizens from unnecessary bodily trauma that could result from elective cosmetic surgery procedures, if they are not physically fit to undergo surgery. It will help prevent other California families from going through the trauma and grief that the West family had to endure."
Kanye West is said to be very pleased with the news and his family is trying to get the law passed in Illinois and Oklahoma, where Donda resided, as well as in New York.
We wish Kanye the best of luck!

This will not help those "select few" who believe they are above the law. These stars and hanger-ons will do ANYTHING to get the look they want. You think a bill will change that? Grow up.
I think that this law is a good idea, it should be past everyone - not just In the California.

This law won't make a bit of difference. Her doctor was shit and would have done her surgery anyway. Bad docs will be bad no matter what the law dictates in terms of patient care.
Making a bill to pass for a woman that didn't do due diligence and probably went with that Dr. because he was black to boot. Shame to be so 'afro-centric' when it comes to who is the best Dr. to cut you open.
I think she is great and all and she deserves it but Lisa Renna deserves it more!!!
Sorry, but that's kind of bullshit. It's an elective surgery and most likely she would've found a doctor to do it no matter what and hid part of her medical history. People who do elective plastic surgery will most likely do anything to have it done. Funny how you are all about Kanye now!

Sorry guys, but West's mother was advised not to have the surgery…and ended up hastily switching to a Dr. that would do it anyway. My Mom died for legitimate reasons, and it is disgusting that his Mom essentially threw her life away for a boob job and lipo. In my opinion, laws shouldn't be made to protect stupid people from offing themselves.
