Sweet Justice For Jessica!! Fox Apologies!!!

After realizing what a douche move they made on Sunday with their skit mocking Jessica Simpson, Fox released a statement apologizing for being so inventive insensitive:
"Burger King Corp. did not have any editorial input in the creation of the animation that ran last Sunday, and no one from Burger King Corp. approved it before it aired. Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humor was insensitive and we deeply apologize to anyone who might have been offended."
A rep for Burger King adds:
"Burger King Corp. has a long-standing relationship with FOX Sports, as well as an extensive media partnership with the network. The specific content for this sketch involving Jessica Simpson was not developed or aired by BKC or any of its agencies."
We expect to hear Jessica reply with: "Fuck off and send free Whoppers!"
We kid, we kid…kind of.

It sounds more like Burger King distancing itself from Fox and applying pressure to Fox to apologize as well. She is a public figure and therefore fair game for parody. I personally would stay out of the comments on women's weight, its dangerous territory.

This was done in really bad taste. Sure didn't make fun of Kfed did they and he has really gained some serious weight. Putting people down doesn't help with weight problems, educating people on how to eat properly does. I have a good friend who has p.c.o.s. and struggles with her weight, she doesn't eat anymore than I do.

Why is everyone feeling sorry for Jessica. Wasn't Jessica the one who perpetuated the hollywood stereotype that thin is better by marketing her body. Wasn't Jessica the one popping her boobs out of everything she wore and prancing around a car in a string bikini. Now that she is overweight, yes I said it, overweight, she can't take the criticism.
