Jay-Z's Yankee Snub

Jay-Z might not be such a major Yankees fan after all! (Or he just doesn't have a sense of humor!)
Music producer David Brody, of Elvis Duran and The Morning Show on Z100 (100.3 FM) in NYC, created a parody of Jay-Z's Run This Town.
His version is Yankees Run This Town and it's become quite a hit on the radio with Yankee fans.
That's when Brody decided it would be great for Jay-Z to perform the modified song for all the Yankee lovers.
Brody stated, "It would be the highlight of my parody career."
But what can you expect from Jay-Z, the man is obviously busy, so he passed.
So Brody took to his Twitter and commented that "Jay Z just turned me down … damn!"
Sad.
Maybe for enough $$$ he'd record the song!

He's busy touring, currently in Canada, entertaining thousands of fans at arenas. Not like the Pumpkinhead Presents tour of unoccupied phone booths and condemned flop-houses.
Because an artist might be too busy or just not want to participate in a parody of one of his songs, it does not mean he is snubbing the team. Also, to imply that he would do it for the money is just ignorant. I think he has enough irons in the fire to live the life of luxury for the rest of his days.
