Leona Lewis Cancels Book Tour!

Poor thing!
In the aftermath of the cowardly attack she faced at her book signing, Leona Lewis has pulled out of any further appearances to promote her autobiography Dreams.
According to her spokesman, "Leona was due to go to Germany today for promo but that has now been cancelled. Leona is obviously shocked after yesterday but is OK."
The songstress was set to fly out for a day-long promotional tour, but she is understandably feeling like it's too soon to face the public.
Fortunately, Leona is still set to begin rehearsals next week for her first mayjah UK show!!!

i like Leona i think she is really good but at the end of the day it was only 1 hit and she walked out of the book shop on her own she wasnt knocked out or anything and then she was rushed to a clinic? a bit over the top to cancel stuff, was she not kicked in the face or something by a horse? she didnt cancel anything then.
But still a man should not be hitting her or anyone for that matter.
I don't understand… What was the reason the attacker gave for punching her? I hope she understands that someone crazy is someone crazy, not the average people.

I do understand that she is apprehensive to get back out there. However, by cancelling that is totally unprofessional. Fans and the bookstores are relying on her. Could you imagine if we could skip out of work when we didn't feel like doing something?

i do have a news flash though; on the same day she was punched/attacked, hundreds of other people who are NOT authors and singers were also. People get mugged, knocked down, robbed, whatever…most people on book tours do not get punched (not even Hunter Thompson or Rush Limbaugh, I guess); but…..unless her press rep insists, I'd cancel too. who needs it? she should call Rihanna and talk about putting frozen peas on a bruise.
