Man Charged Over Leona Lewis Attack!

Good! He deserves whatever is given to him - and then some!
Twenty three-year-old Peter Kowalczyk was charged with assault this afternoon after punching Leona Lewis during her book signing this week.
The Metropolitan Police announced that he will be appearing before the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court in two weeks on October 26th. As of now, the man has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
You'd have to be mental to attack someone like Leona! She is just the sweetest! (We're not buying that this guy is mentally ill. It's a means to get a more lenient sentence!)
They better do her justice and punish this guy!

Apparently after he hit her, and her bodyguards had restrained him, he was laughing as they led him away. Sounds to me as if he is a bit of a nutjob. Nothing a bit of electric shock therapy won't fix!:)
Yet I can't help but think that if he slapped Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, or Jennifer Love Hewitt, that you would be calling for leniency or applauding the assault.

When I first read this story yesterday, I immediately thought he probably has mental issues.
These stars leave themselves open to these kind of attacks because they get to close to the public. Speaking of Mariah Carey, I am quite a big fan and I waited outside a hotel for her so I could get her autograph years ago… she had an entourage and bodyguards, but she still left herself wide open for something to happen. She had her back to me for example for like 20 seconds or something and if I was a maniac I could have done anything. I know the public is their job but these stars do not take enough precautions I don't think.

You obviously don't know the British Law System, he has to be assessed by a psychologist and already declared mentally ill before he can even be arrested under the mental health act. He'll also get the exact same sentence he won't get a lenient one at all he'll serve his time in a high security hospital if he's declared mentally ill. He'll only got a year or so just like if anyone else was to hit someone else You dont get any extra years for just hitting a celeb It's the UK not the USA we have working laws.
