I gotta say that THIS was the Madonna that I loved at the time. I'm not into her now, never really was after her True era. Couldn't stand the changes she made to herself, but we all grow as we are growing up. This was an amazing period back in the day though. Remember all those plastic bracelets??? Oh yeah….!

Whether you like her or not now, you have to give her the respect she deserves for maintaining her presence so strongly for the past 20 years. She IS an amazing artist and has inspired many new generations like herself now. Lady Gaga is of course one of them. And please don't bash on me since I didn't say I liked LG! Like I said, I may not personally listen to M anymore, I admire her determination and strength it has taken to stay relevant for so long. Madonna has always been mind bendingly gorgeous. Being part of the original goth/punk scene in Vancouver in the early '80's…. we were all in awe of her look and tried to emulate it from the first moment we saw her first album. Her style was breathtaking and original.
Hands down, she has the most beautiful eyes in the business. Say what you will about her, she's an American icon.
