Judge Bans Lesbian Debate From Anna Nicole Trial
Among the flurry of allegations being tossed around in the Anna Nicole Smith case, one claim that keeps coming up is her alleged affair with a female doctor.
Prosecutors began to stir up claims that there was a sexual relationship between Anna and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who is on trial with Howard K. Stern and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor for illegally providing prescription drugs. The lawyers are suggesting that this affair was the motivating factor in the doctor's decision to prescribe medication for Anna illegally.
However, the judge has deemed the claim as irrelevant and has ruled against any further discussion of the topic. As he put it, he did not want this trial to turn into a "circus sideshow."

I care. There are tens of thousands of victims of sexual exploitation by licensed trusted, helping professionals. It is a criminal offense in the Sate of California. Anna Nicole may have drunkenly fooled around with selected women (I have seen her make out with a few) but a full on affair is very unlikely. This is just a way for them to try and 'throw a wrench' in this whole thing. It is irrelevant.

The prosecutors are the ones bringing this up because there are pictures of her female Dr. in the bathtub with A.N.S. and if this Dr. was receiving some sort of gratification from this relationship then that can go towards motive for her over prescribing. Equating any lesbian discussion with a "circus" is kind of homophobic, don't you think? You might not want to hear about it but you need to in order to bring justice to A.N.S. For a medical professional to have a sexual relationship with a patient is unethical, and if this doctor indeed engaged in such with her psychologically vulnerable patient, she should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I do not think the judge should be sweeping this possibility under the rug. The doctor might do the same thing to another patient in the future.
