Kelly Goes Old School, Returns To All My Children!

Kelly Ripa is going back to her daytime soap opera roots.
The bubbly blonde will return to ABC's All My Children for the show's 40th anniversary. And joining her will be her hubbie, Mark Consuelos.
The two actually met back in 1995 while working on the soap together and married later in 1996.
The show is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary on January 5th next year with Kelly and Mark's show airing that week.
And as a special treat, Live With Regis and Kelly will air behind-the-scenes footage in November of the couple reprising their roles.

Congrats on a 40th anniversary, but I doubt there will be a 50th. The "Soaps" are a dying breed. What I will miss most is the "quality" acting.

Re: ap076 – Except for Bold and Beautiful! It is the most widely circulated programme on earth! I watched it in Daramsala, India, in Switzerland, France, all over the place. I love that show because it is so one-dimensional and only 30 minutes.

oh, please. AMC is awesome, they bring back the actors that actually played the parts all the time. Its called continuity! Kelly & Mark had the most beautiful love story that was even more believable l because they were really in love. Long live AMC!!! The only soap to watch!!

Skinny and Chicklets are so phony. I saw them on Extra, and when you see video of her posing for photos, she looks even more pathetic. And BTW, their sons are COMPLETE brats. that family deserves each other. Poor Lola!

I love her on Regis and Kelly. I think the two of them are hilarious and perfect together. She's not anorexic, you fucking idiots!! She works out and looks amazing. The more I see of her, the more I appreciate her talent. I started watching AMC when it first started. My aunt got me interested in it after school. Back then, Erica Kane was still in high school. I haven't watched regularly in years but check in, from time to time.
