With all fingers pointing at a hoax, the father of Balloon Boy, Richard Heene is for sure going to be in some maaaajor trubs with the law!
Apparently Heene phoned the local news station, 9 News, before calling the police when the balloon floated away!!!
Heene claims he called the station before 911 because he knew they had access to a helicopter, but we call bullshiz!

Another TM and Z story and now it's from 2 DAYS ago. Wow. Everyone knew this immediately. He said the day of, it was to ask them to get the helo up to find the balloon.

I live in Ft Collins and EVERYONE here that knows the father thinks he's an unbalanced jerk. It's quite a coincidence for this to happen to a family who has been shopping a reality tv show around … I hope they have to pay for all the resources they used to support the stunt. And I sure as hell hope this all doesn't lead to a reality show for the family.

The father is facing a hefty fine like a couple hundred dollars and that is about it. The only thing the police can charge the guy with is a misdemenor. They are trying to figure out a way to charge him with a federal crime of violating FAA airspace, but that ain't likely to hold up. So the guy is facing minor trouble with the law.
Suing him for money won't do any good. I sued him back in 2006 and won a court judgment in my favor and I'm still waiting to be paid.
