Guns N' Roses hits such as Welcome To The Jungle and Sweet Child O' Mine will be featured on the newest Rockabye Baby album. Wailing guitar solos and screeching vocals will be replaced with harps, bells, xylophones and the smell of dirty diapers!
Because this shiz stinks!

Um, and you're a supposed music industry guy? Ever heard of licensing and controlled compositions? Anyone can cover a song as long as they license it and pay mech. royalties. Most of the time the original song writers have no say in the matter.

I always hated Axhole Rose and thought it was a great shame to waste a voice like his on a dung beetle. I liked the other guys in the band but thought he was a showboating dweeb.
Yes, Axl has sold out. But seriously, I own some of those CD's. & it's way nice to listen to renditions of rock n roll songs than twinkle twinkle little star!!!
GNR was always a really mainstream rock band , so I'm not sure how exactly thier "selling out". it's like Bon Jovi or wtv. this shit was never exactly "underground music". though I guess it is kind of embarassing for it to be an album of baby music lol

I've been singing guns n roses to my kids for years. Welcome to the Jungle was my 3 year olds favorite song. This makes sense to me, although it'll be weird w/the harps. The music is awesome though.

STfU Perez. What the hell do you know. Rock-a-Bye Baby does the coolest albums. I bought my daughter Rockabye baby does the Beatles, NIN, ColdPlay, Tool and Bjork. She LOVES all of them. And its nice to have something other than the traditional lullabies.

Axl has nothing to do with whether or not other people can cover his songs. It's called a compulsory license, and it means that as long as the standard industry rate is paid to the songwriters/publishers, you don't have to get permission to cover other people's work. Likely Axl and/or anyone else involved with writing and publishing the songs of Guns n Roses had NOTHING to do with it whatsoever, even if they will ultimately get their cut of the money made.
