It seems Daniel Radcliffe is planning to make America his permanent residence or at least one of many!
The Harry Potter star bought himself a historical New York home on West 12th Street. The renovated 5-bedroom home was originally built by a sea captain for his daughter in 1847.
And it was worth a pretty penny - $5.6 million to be exact!
This is THIRD piece of property in the Big Apple!!!
He better watch it! You can't wave your magic wand and make bankruptcy disappear!

This house is very similar to the family home in London. I would guess he bought it so his parents can move to NY when he is doing a Broadway show. He already has a bachelor pad for himself. Makes perfect sense. I don't think he is a spendthrift.
