Gossip Girl is really trying to pull in ratings with some A-List guest stars! (Good plan!)
According to sources, Gossip star Blake Lively worked her magic at the recent launch of Victoria's fashion collection in New York and after a long chat with the former Spice Girl, convinced Victoria to let her run the idea of a guest spot by producers.
From what we hear, Victoria happens to be a huge fan of the show and was only too pleased to agree to the idea and you know the producers probably just about wet themselves when they heard the news!
A source gave away some of the deets, saying:
“Victoria isn’t an actress and wanted her role to be very tongue-in-cheek. And an idea for her to play Ed Westwick’s long-lost mother was quickly vetoed. Victoria joked that she’d rather play his ex-love interest!”
Yes! The latter, please! A little spice for Chuck and Blair is just what the show needs!

Either this is an old picture or she's gotten rid of the hideous silicone blobs that she had bolted to her chest. Natural is much nicer, although that tan looks anything but.

Often when a show is failing, stunt appearances become a tool to prevent the network axeman from cutting off it's head. If CWs line-up was not all ready shit, this show would be dead and buried by the end of this season.

So why are they having a guest appearance by a D-lister like Victoria Beckham? Hell, I'm more of an A-lister than she is.
Re: cheesemeister – yup! she redid her implants two months ago. she removed her DD's and replaced them with a full B. She stated she wanted a natural look, and wanted them to go with her body frame. looks good!
Since when is she an A-list star?? And on top of that.. she's old.. and needs to eat something or I'm sure the camera won't even register her one-pixel-body.

She is absolutley gorgeous. Poor GG. Gossip Girl is my favourite show. I can understand why there are bad ratings though, unfortunatley.
It's because Chuck and Blaire have each other already, so to spice things up, we need other girls/boys to get involved. Also, there is NO drama. Chase Crawford went down hill too. It sucks.
I still love every minute of watching the show. The 2nd season was a hit, so it's going to be hard to top that. I doubt that GG will go off the air this season. The producers are smart. They'll figure something out.
Already with VB, they've got an A-list celeb who'll bring in ratings. Lady GaGa too! That'll bring in TONS.

Also Becklite needs to get real and admit she is waaaaaaay too old for the tweens. None of the cast was alive when the spice girls had their one hit wonder.
