DMX Throws Down At Charity Event
Surprisingly enough, he didn't go to jail for this.
Over the weekend, rapper DMX was slated to perform at a charity event in Colorado Springs. He arrive fashionably late - 90 minutes late to be exact. (Perhaps he had a lot of bling to put on!) When he did arrive, security refused to let him in or perform as planned.
Big mistake.
Their error in judgement sent DMX off the edge and a screaming match ensued, followed shortly after by a physical match. The latter was cheered on by a room full of charity do-gooders, rooting on DMX to take down the man!
When the fight finally did break up and DMX did get on-stage, the sound system wasn't turned on and he was asked to leave.
Bummer!

It's not really a SURPRISE he didn't go to jail for it. He doesn't go to jail for shit…well, he did once right? and that was for how long? I hate how celebrities can do whatever appeases them and get away with it.

You should get your story straight and the WHOLE story. All local outlets including the charity event organizers and concert goers all stated he was NOT late. Local acts had just gotten done and he was right on time. He was going up to perform and security threw an attitude. After he got on stage, he begged the audience not to go to violence and to keep the peace.
Why doesn't Mario tell us about the call out he got last night from 'Access Hollywood'; where he was called a lie telling low life blogger??

Why would they NOT let DMX go on if he was not doing anything wrong… Come on… Those sticking up for this man are clearly fans, and that's fine but really…. Think about it… He was seen making a HUGE deal… then probably realized he could go back to jail so THEN he tried to be cool and tell the crowd no violence… Fame and Drugs…. and Whatever mental issues this guy has are why he will go down.

look like an angry black man try to put on a show, the problem is he is an hour late, i am glad they teach him a lesson, i wont even wait for 10 minutes for his performance.

The cops were probably told to do this but then again DMX created a name for himself by being a bad boy and going to jail/prison. Sure the cops seemed a little protective but this is what he has to pay for all his mistakes in the past.
DMX is a cracked out has been….. Who would even care to see him perform?
Looks like the fans wanted him to perform. If it's a charity thing, let him perform (unless payment is somehow involved).

He was late. I know somebody who was on security (not a cop) who almost got hurt because of that stupid crowd. He was supposed to be there by 9:30.
The plan was to have everything shut down by 11:30, so the cops tried to stick with that plan. From what I know, everyone was okay.
"VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE ANSWER" I heard this somewhere before and it seemed appropriate.
