Garth Brooks Gets A Sweet Ride For Vegas Show

We wonder how long it will be till the girls of the Peepshow mosey on down the strip to the Wynn just to ask Garth Brooks for a ride on his awesome new mode of transportation.

Coming out of retirement for a long stretch of Vegas shows took some convincing for this country Western bumpkin singer, but perhaps the final bribe to seal the deal was the promise of a customized private jet for his own personal use!

Who can say not to that!

The 11-seat Challenger jet, courtesy of casino owner Steve Wynn, was given to Garth with the promise that he'll be able to make it back to Oklahoma everyday to dropped his two little girls of at school, just as he promised them when he retired.

Steve may have given him the jet, but the fans will be paying for it as we've learned that each ticket for his show will be $125, no matter where you sit. A steep ticket price helps fuel that jet of his and then some.

We'll see if it all pays off!

County/Western is no longer the term used to describe this genre of music. It is just Country. And behind hip hop it is the 2nd most popular type of music in America. The term Bumpkin is just plain insulting to the millions upon millions of Country fans out there. Takes your eyes off the coasts and see what the rest of the country enjoys for a change. You have such limited knowledge of the industry it is no wonder your efforts there fail.

What a disgusting waste of natural resources. No wonder the world is going to hell.

    4. 4

wtf is he wearing?!? Was he going to a rodeo after that awards show?!

    5. 5

i am by no means an especially "green" person (if really at all), but that is a very, very large carbon footprint in the making. i can't even imagine.

    6. 6

I absolutely HATE country music. BUT, some chick dragged me to his concert and the price is totally reasonable. I've been to 60+ concerts and Garth Broooks was THE BEST CONCERT I"VE EVER BEEN TO. He is an incredible showman and entertainer.

I'm getting sick and tired of your LAZY writing!
…with the promise that he'll be able to make it back to Oklahoma everyday to dropped (you mean DROP) his two little girls of (you mean OFF) at school…

Spend an extra half second to spell-check, idiot!

      Re: ap076

Oh god, shut up! Who cares what "bumpkin" means?! I'm not even supporting his use of it but this is just ridiculous POLITICAL CORRECTNESS that is completely unnecessary. Everyone grow the fuck up and stop being so damn delicate about other people's jargon!

    9. 9

      You're calling HIM a bumpkin ????

    10. 10

Seriously…. How green…. And all so the fattest people of the world (Vegas american tourists) can be subjected to the "music" of Garth Brooks? Oh, the humanity…

    11. 11

Does he have a daughter that tweets? num nums :)

    12. 12

Wow.. you people are jealous!! I can tell you, my kids go to school in Oklahoma with his THREE daughters, and he's probably one of the most down to earth people you'd ever want to meet. His daughters are very nice kids, not snobby little brats. Mario, seriously hon, you need to check your facts before you sit there and post.

    13. 13

yay garth! congrats on getting inducted into the oklahoma state university cowboy hall of fame last weekend!!! go pokes!!

    14. 14

Awesome…Can't wait to check it out!!

      So that's not saying much.

That's insane! A private jet ride at least 5 days a week? What a waste of fuel. Gotta love entitled celebrities.

$125 is not that expensive considering the prices of most concert tickets these days. There are acts that are not nearly as well known as Garth Brooks is and they charge more. He could absolutely get away with a higher price. People who don't pay attention to country automatically write it off but it pulls in an obscene amount of money every year. Garth Brooks is one of the biggest names in country music and people will do whatever they can to get a chance to see him. I know I will!

    18. 18

Your "facts" are wrong, yet again.

    19. 19

You're a fucking dumbass. Garth Brooks is not just a country singer and as won awards for being one of the greatest live performers. I would pay 200 a ticket to see him. He's phenomenal.

    20. 20

Apparently someone doesn't know that $125 isn't bad for a Vegas show ticket.

I am so appalled by your blind ignorance that I am about to stop reading your site yet again. I quit the first time before the last Presidential election. Leave politics out of your posts and keep your closed-minded opinions to yourself. This blog is supposed to be for fun and entertainment, not your personal agenda.

I'm not fat bitch.. a old ford model.. and Garth rocks.. so suck it.

    23. 23

PEREZ IS A FAT UGLY LOSER!!! I HATE YOU, PEREZ! IT'S HILARIOUS HOW HARD YOU ATTEMPT TO MILK YOUR 15 MINUTES OF FAME. YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO TALENT, NO SENSE OF STYLE, AND REALLY JUST SUCK. YOU ARE A FAT FOOL. I WISH YOU WOULD DISAPPEAR FROM SOCIETY. GET OVER YOURSELF.

    24. 24

Re: perezisafatloser09 – Perez is widely successful and will be for many years to come… and YOU? let me guess, a waitress?

    25. 25

Flying everyday in a plane this size to OK and back is a bit dangerous… I think it would increase his odds of getting in an accident. Be careful.

And why do all these people hate Perez? I mean, if I hate something, I stay far far away. i get it out of my mind and don't give it my energy. You people come to his site and comment! Your hate must stem from you hating yourselves. Get healthy people.

    26. 26

My God, how I can't stand this fat has-been! How does he get into those pants?!!? The way he tries to such that gut in! Ridiculous!

Re: Nostradamus – Oh to be sure I never equate popularity with taste, but there are lots of people between my coast and the west coast who really love Country Music and Nascar.

Re: Genesis – I think there is a place for political correctness and Bumpkin is an insulting term meaning an awkward, unsophisticated person, a yokel.
I prefer to not use this generalization to describe country music singers and their fans and will correct those ignorant enough to do so.

    29. 29

It's not that expensive considering Lady Gorgon and Kanye had a top price of $150+ for their ill-fated tour. I'd pay $125 to see Garth Brooks any day. Good Madonna tickets were twice that.

    30. 30

We learned nothing from the financial crisis. And btw, some people are just too rich. F*cking ungrateful bas*ards. There should be a limit as to how much wealth a person can accumulate. And unless his wealth is producing new jobs and helping new businesses grow he should pay taxes so that he cannot cross a certain wealth limit. Because this is sick, people are too rich. And then you have people no being able to afford food and clothes. If all the celebrities helped the government they could slowly freakin put the US into the green

    31. 31

      Re: ap076

      well said. :)

    32. 32

A lot of musicians have died in planed crashes. This ups his odds a ton. Cross your fingers!

    33. 33

$125.00 tickets are WELL worth it… He is so amazing he sets the bar as far as concerts go. If you don't belive me just go to one even if your not a country fan, you WILL have a blast! As far as being a country bumpkin goes, honestly I know I'm not just speaking for myself when I say this, I would rather be a happy country bumpkin from Oklahoma than be a cynical douche from the stateside anyday. Yes we all know its way overboard for him to be coming home everyday but when you make a promise you keep that promise especially to your children you only get one chance…. Oh and congrats to Garth and Barry for being inducted in to the OSU Hall of Hame…. GO POKES!!

    34. 34

I love Garth Brooks' music and I've met him and he is a very very nice guy. I think the ticket prices are more than reasonable considering it's a Vegas show and it is Garth Brooks after all. But if that whole jet shit is true then I'm going to be pissed if he does that. What a waste. That is horrible for the environment!! If he wants to send his girls off to school everyday great-then focus on that and not the Vegas shows. He's done enough shows, or else wait til they go off to college or are too old to care if you are there everyday to send them off to school!!!

    35. 35

I thought his career died a long time ago. Too many good other country singers out there. There is no way on this Earth that I would pay that much money to hear a has-been.

    36. 36

Re: Nostradamus – NASCAR is most certainly NOT a "bumpkin" sport. 99% of the sponsors on those race cars are Fortune 500 businesses. You would know that if you would do a little bit of research. Also, did you know that the AVERAGE winnings for driving a race car for 4 HOURS is around $150,00? Do you make that much in 4 hours? I didn't think so!
