Oprah Welcomes SARAAAAAH PAAAAALIN To The Show!

A big part of us wishes that instead of Sarah Palin pushing her book on Oprah's show, we could watch Tina Fey impersonate her, if only to spare our ears from the moose talk and hockey, hick stories.
Ah, we'll just tune it out. It's Oprah who has to act interested!
Until now, Sarah Palin has turned down offers to the appear on Oprah's show. (It may be because she picked our President.) But now, with a memoir hitting the shelves soon, Sarah is sucking up her Alaskan pride and schlepping it over to Chicago to meet with the mega talk show host.
Oprah even predicted that would be the case almost a month ago, telling her audience "Maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a book deal."
Ah, how the tables have turned!
Be sure to check her out on November 16th, if you can stomach it, and just pray that Palin's book doesn't somehow sneak up on the Oprah Book Club list.

Unlike liberal books (i.e., Kennedy), the Palin book will be a best seller. Of course, liberals don't usually stop talking long enough to read a book anyway!

Did Oprah welcome Perez Hilton and Kathy Griffin to her show when they had books to pitch??? NO. She did ask Rosie O'Donnell and Rosie chickened out. Sarah will not be controlled by McCain's campaign managers for this interview. The public may even enjoy her.
The last scrap of any respect I had for Oprah is officially gone.

I'm going to watch it- the first time I'll see Oprah's show in two years! Palin is one of the most accomplished woman around. Oprah should treat her right and let her speak about who she really is as a person.

I think Oprah should go to Alaska. That would be more entertaining. I'm politically independent, but I don't understand why Republicans like Sarah Palin. God knows Oprah's sagging ratings could use the boost; even the typical haters in this thread know they'll be watching, or at least view clips of it online, so they can 'lol' over what she says — after all, why would they open topics like these and hurl bile at a woman they supposedly don't care about?
Palin may even be able to demonstrate why the voters of Alaska elected her over an established and well-funded opponent, then awarded her with a 80-percent approval rating after only a year in office.
