Don't get the appeal of Twilight. It's sexist, misogynistic (look it up) and has put feminism back about 200 years. It's worrying that young girls not only see Edward's actions as normal, but may be actually seek out a partner that is possesive and controlling. These are two of the biggest warning signs of a potentially abusive partner that can lead to domestic violence (every week in the UK, two women are killed by absuive partners.

You are so right.
I remember in the first Twilight book, Bella spent most of her time cooking and clearning for her Dad. And she was very apologetic to him whenever she didn't cook a good meal or clean the house!!! Gave me the creeps.
Even though the entire book series, is mostly innocent (although sometimes really stupid) entertainment, you can definitely realize that a few things in Stephenie Meyer's thinking/writing is screwed-up.
