Nicole Richie and Joel Madden nabbed the cover of People magazine showing off their newest addition to their family, Sparrow James Midnight. Richie says of her family:
"I couldn't be happier. The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I'm right where I belong."
Apparently Harlow is already enjoying her new role as big sister and taking good care of her baby brother. Joel says that "she's very gentle with him."
What an adorable family! We love Harlow's huge smile!

What a beautiful family! I wish them all the best. Not really loving the kids names,but that's up to the parents,I guess.
She's come a long way. And even though I don't believe she deserves to be in the spotlight because she hasn't done anything talented ever and what she did do on tv was almost 10 years ago I do wish her the best with her family.
Her son is ugly though…looks just like his dad.

normal people pay to get announcements made and pay for them to send them out. Hollywood d list get paid to appear on the cover of a magazine. And magazines wonder why they are going broke? add this to the list. most people are tired of seeing babies, they do not care. and for this 'family', why don't they show total commitment and get married? It's not like it is against the law for them, and it would show their kids what commitment means. Unless, they are on their way out. ( I am sure some people buying People are going, 'who is she?' been a while and she was only on a trash cable channel for doing nothing. and her father hasn't had a decent hit in what? like 30 years?

I feel their family is very special! The children have unique names which I think is awesome because thats something that makes people stand out! ok, I'm on Perez, I don't have to be politically correct. I only hope those kids start to look cuter once they grow. They may be precious new lives in the world, but they started out at a big disadvantage with Mom and Dad's original faces! Oh well, their mom has some Godawful hold on the gossip mag trade, so they'll be in our faces for the next 25 years regardless. She must give good parties or something.
