For a magazine that has been printing photos of girls fully attired and semi-nude cartoons, who the fuck is surprised? You know where else you could find clothed women (and for free)? EVERYWHERE. Good riddance, Playboy.

Playboy used to be a great magazine. Unfortunately, they've completely lost their way. When you destroy the great brand you've built over 50 years though by becoming a pseudo-Maxim and publishing crap like non-nude spreads of lowlifes like Heidi Montag, you deserve to be sent to the great magazine graveyard. So long.
70's playboy mags are so much better.
I seen this coming for awhile… with all the free, easily accessible, internet porn… who needs Playboy? Although I can see it becoming a collectors mag. Few years after it dies, you'll be seeing issues on Ebay for like $100 a pop, lol
Not a surprise about the magazine, the real question now is, how will Playboy survive as a brand? In 1993, you had 3 girls a month in the magazine naked, and that's it. Today, hundreds of girls every month, girls who are hotter than they were back then, are posing online. Just for Playboy. Are they making money though? I know the girls don't get paid much (porn stars are only getting $1-2K a shoot), but they don't seem to care: The Playboy brand is strong enough where all these girls have to do is get published, and then get noticed, and it'll open new, paying opportunities. That, or be somebody's trophy girl/wife (see Jayde Nicole). Meanwhile, Playboy, the publisher, is making little off the pictures and videos they make where you can find anywhere online in short order, for free. As long as the brand means something, they have a chance to make money, though they'll have to find new ways to generate revenue (an uphill battle). If you're female, and you're a Playboy model, does that make you special, other than to the creepers that can't get laid? Cause if it doesn't anymore, it's the end for Playboy.
