More Turtle Power!

Nickelodeon has just purchased global rights to the most tubular dudes of the 80's - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
The studio is planning a new CG-animated series based on the crime fighters to appear in 2012, which coincides with the release of the upcoming Turtles movie by their parent company, Viacom.
Their goal is to introduce more fans the the 25-year old franchise!
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shares a comedic sensibility with the Nickelodeon DNA, with added layers of action and fantasy that have kept this property an evergreen favorite with multiple generations of audiences," said Cyma Zarghami, president of Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. "We are extremely happy to have the opportunity to be able to focus on this property and creatively re-introduce it to a new generation of kids."

"Yeah, but don't eff with a good thing!"… when have the ninja turtles ever been a good thing?!
Hey look!! Its the end of the world!!! 2012 is supposed to be the end of the world so lets give us 6 foot tall fighting turtles to help with the disasters sure to happen this year!
"the the 25-year old franchise!" Perez suffers from writing ticks.
Nooo, why not an ACTUAL movie??
theyve done cg, live action, cartoon, comics, etc
what more is there to do with the turtles
and what is with "the the"
I had a crush on Michelangelo when I was 5.
Recently I found out my friend did too, when she was little, therefore I am not weird.
NOOOOO what the hell?
Originality is dead in Hollywood.
Please stop ruining everyone's favorite childhood shows.
my older brother collected the comics back when they were still just a black and white underground indie thing….years before they were sold to the makers of archie comics.
to this day, i still look at those old issues if i get a chance (when visiting the older brother and his family) and they still hold up..creatively and visually. there were some good stories on those early years.
the humour they're talking about..the cowabunga crap, skateboarding and eating pizza stuff..that was all introduced by the archiecomics guys….the original comics were somewhat dark and were originally intended to be a satire of Frank Millers work, such as Ronin…etc……It's a pity that more folks today don't know the real history of the turtles….its much much cooler than what eventually got massed produced and put on TV as crap….
Re: BeNiceYall – Me and my sis's did too. Dont feel ashamed.
Re: PerezTheBlogNazi – really? did you just choose to not read the entire blog or was in the 3 seconds it took you to get to the comments page that you forgot what the post said? It says the release of the new tv show will coincide with the release of the movie! Moron!
Re: rachel182 – I hate to tell ya but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been remade and remade and remade, the original cartoon, movies, new cartoons, etc. Get over it
When will these tools learn that we miss REAL cartoons and are sick of this CG crap?
Noooo! Ef these people who want to screw up all the good old cartoons by doing shitty remakes. TMNT 80's style all the way!!!!!
Re: popstar2k2 – Who the hell are you to attack someone you dont even know with "moron". Remoce that stick out of your ass BETCH.
