Tom Cruise Made Homophobic Comments, Says Co-Star!
In a recent interview with 80's sitcom star Bronson Pinchot (haven't heard that name in awhile, have ya?), the Perfect Strangers star spilled some juicy bits about his Risky Business co-star, Tom Cruise!
Specifically, that Cruise was known for being a big ol' homophobe on set!!!!
Says Pinchot:
We thought Tom [Cruise] was the biggest bore on the face of the Earth… He was tense and made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments, like, "You want some ice cream, in case there are no gay people there?" I mean, his lingo was larded with the most… There was no basis for it. It was like, "It's a nice day, I'm glad there are no gay people standing here." Very, very strange.

Sounds like Tommy was trying to overcompensate to cover "something" up!
Bronson continued: "Years and years later when people started to torment him with that, I used to think 'God, that's really fitting, because he tormented a lot of people as a 20-year-old.'"

What about the right of myself, Perez, and people like us to have a negative opinion of Tom Cruise for being homophobic then? You are saying that he is in his right to dislike people for being gay (or any other reason, it doesn't have to be about homophobia or racism), but then saying that Perez doesn't have a right to dislike him because of that viewpoint and that he sould get over it? The point was that if those people have a right to dish it, then they should also be able to take it. You shouldn't criticise people for dishing it right back to them. After all, as you say, EVERYONE has a right to an opinion. You obviously don't have well-developed reading skills if you couldn't infer that meaning from my statement.
