Okay so I am a HUGE fan of Glee, but I have to say I was little disappointed in the episode last night…agree?? Dont get me wrong I will still watch it every Wednesday, I guess I was just expecting more!!

    2. 2

      I don't like it!

    3. 3

Thats awesome! Any song that show uses obviously is going to be good…

Not my favorite musical arrangement of the song. Rather than the Broadway arrangement it is the one from Idina's most recent solo "album". Still a great song with a good message. if you like the song here are 8 great dance/house mixes available for download in I T u n e s FYI.

I can tell that that is defiantly not Idina Menzel. She is alot more intense in her sound typically.

I love that kurt is singing it too! he doesnt get enough solo song time. Yeah, it's a little slower than the Wicked version, but I'm going to bet that this is one that isn't a Glee club number, just randomly breaking into song.

Soooo pretty! And OMG I cannot get over how insanely precious Chris Colfer's voice is!! I just.. HE IS TOO ADORABLE

When I first saw Glee's premiere, I thought that Lea's voice reminded me of Idina's, and I wondered if they would have her do any of Idina-like songs. This is def the arrangement from Idina's solo album which isn't bad. I just think that b/c Glee is all about the performance, it would be much more powerful if they had the characters do the show stopping version from Wicked. It's hard to make a real judgement though without SEEING it. Can't wait.

Lea Michele for Elphaba in the Wicked Movie!!!!!!!!!

    10. 10

Amazing… Best New Show… I cannot wait until this Episode Airs. SHOOT

    11. 11

Only a gay man whos not getting any could love this shit.

    12. 12

Holy damns… LOVE IT!! Cannot wait.

    13. 13

love it! i love that kurt finally has more singing time!

    14. 14

hate the arrangement, but chris's falsetto is off the hook.

    15. 15

When they make "Wicked" the movie, she needs to play Elfeba. Laura Belly Bundy of the Broadway show of "Legally Blonde" would be amazing as Galinda.

    16. 16

      Go Kurt!

    17. 17

Gives me chills! This is one of my favorite songs of all time and Lea Michele is a flawless singer. You can't get any better than this!

    18. 18

Idina and Lea look alike. I heard that Idina was going to guest star on the show as Lea's mom? Is it true?

    19. 19

Besides my thinking " melodyne" and " I really wish they didn't studio record EVERYTHING on Glee" . I am most definitely going to watch that episode.

    20. 20

lol… the person who posted this on you-tube is mad perez posted it on his page!! haha… red box in corner of video

    21. 21

I could totally see Lea Michele as Elphaba, and I like that Chris Colfer is singing in it too.

Also, the corner box is pretty funny.

    22. 22

I'm glad that they are doing more broadway (since i am such a big bway babe) but I dont like how they changed the beat of defying gravity. Its too slow and there wasnt that much emotion. Defying Gravity is such an emotional song that you need to really give it your all when you sing it. I would give it a 2.5/5

    23. 23

there is some nasty offensive text on the window, Perez :(

    24. 24

Re: huberin – I don't think he even knows it says that….

    25. 25

This show desparately needs fewer musical numbers. The scene last night when the teacher did Bust a Move…that was embarrassing to watch. Ugh.

    26. 26

haaha i was disappointed with last night's episode too. i kinda wanted puck and lea michele's character to hook up. that's awesome kurt is singing in this. although i'd love to hear what mercedes would sound like…

    27. 27

Take this off! The owner of the video recognized you put this up and now in the video a window pops off saying Perez Hilton is a Fat F*** its not good for youngr viewers

    28. 28

TAKE THIS DOWN! THIS IS NOT YOUR PROPERTY.

      ASSHOLE…

    29. 29

u are a thieving fat fuck according to that video.
      Care to comment? LOL

It's a shame you don't give credit to the people you troll from

    30. 30

it's kurt singing with her right?

      I love lea michelle!

    31. 31

      NO. NO. NO. NO.

      THIS IS CHRIS COLFER'S SONG.
LEA MICHELE HAS NO RIGHT TO RUIN IT. NO RIGHT.

    32. 32

lea michelle is the next idina period. they are so alike its not even funny. i love it.

    33. 33

WAY TO STEAL FROM OH NO THEY DIDNT PREZZY! & You don't even link your sh!t to the REAL source you got it from. PATHETIC!

    34. 34

Re: SusanWinters – Probably not, seeing as how Lea's character Rachel doesn't even have a mom. She has two dads.

    35. 35

I'm surprised that I like it! Although the older sounding woman's voice isn't as well suited for the song.

"Only a gay man whos not getting any could love this shit."

Wrong. I'm a straight woman not getting any, and I love it.

      Chris Colfer wins. Just wins.

    37. 37

OMG OMG!!! Can't wait, when's the next one on? I though they were taking a little break…. This is going to be awesome, I love Kurt!!!!!!

    38. 38

what could be better than wicked and glee together!

    39. 39

      Yay!

    40. 40

LOVE Lea and Chris! SO EXCITED!!!

    41. 41

The best part of this video is saying that Perez is a thieving fat fuck.

Good job deleting my previous comment pointing this out, though. :)

    42. 42

they should have done the broadway version. it's so much better.

    43. 43

I just downloaded the full version from iTunes and it's brilliant and Lea's vocals are brillaint together. These two are amazing!
