Lisa Kudrow Gets Some Showtime

Let's hope it goes better than The Comeback.
Lisa Kudrow is developing a new comedy for Showtime with Dan Bucatinsky. The show is based on Craig Chester’s memoir Why the Long Face?, which follows his struggle with his homosexuality within a Christian family.
Now word yet if Lisa will star, but the show is tentatively titled Rapture and will begin with Chester being only 9-years-old.
We actually think this has potential. We would rally around it.

"The comeback" rocked!!! Very sly and akward humor, which I guess most americans don't like. Anyway, I love lisa and I'm very excited for a new show from phoebe, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

No. Why would I. It sounds stupid. The only reason that you support it is because it is about homosexuality. Think about it. If you read the same thing about Chester's struggle with heterosexuality, you would be trashing it. Another friend that I will not be watching her show.

The only thing LISA KUDROW reminds me of is that horrible horrible DITZ on Friends. To say she was OBNOXIOUS would be a compliment. Her voice can cause migranes. I have been very happy that she hasn't worked much since the show so I didn't have to look at her face and hear that horrible voice, and I most certainly would never ever watch anything else she does.

"The Comeback" was a good show. You know who was good in that? Lance Barber as the A-Hole "Paulie G."
Showtime is the new HBO (Tru Blood and Big Love are still good). The Comeback was quite funny but a little too entertainment insider. The self deprecating humor was really well done.
Dan wrote, produced and stared in one of the best gay movies I have ever seen, "All Over The Guy", with Richard Ruccolo playing the hotie love interest.
I have high hopes for the new show.

A coming-of-age story about a gay kid? Assuming it's actually good, that's an awesome idea.
It probably will be good, too. "The Comeback" was awesome for the short time it was on.
Jennifer Aninston is 5 years younger than Courtney.
Jennifer is 6 years younger than Lisa.
So I guess it makes sense that Lisa looks oldest .. she's 46
I actually LOVED the Comeback! Great show. One of HBO's many needless casualties…..a shame really. Valerie Cherish is awesome! "I don't want to see that!"….only I do wanna see this new show!

Lisa is the oldest of the three so…stay with me here…she looks older. Plus she hasn't injected Botox and God knows what else into her face like the others have. Hence, she looks her age. I think she looks great, and the show sounds like it has a lot of potential. The subject matter echoes trials that many people have gone through so it will be interesting to see how they handle it.
