Big Names Return To Little-Known Show

We're going to assume this has something to do with loyalties, but we should also point out that neither Kristen Bell or Jane Lynch need this two-bit comedy on the Starz network. They are HUGE stars and should not be degraded this way.
But hey, their careers, not ours!
Regardless, news came in this afternoon that Gossip Girl and Sue Sylvester will be reprising their roles in the network's show Party Down. They'll be joined this season by Megan Mullaly, who also is too big of a name for a show that no one has heard of.
Or maybe it is just us.

It's just one of the greatest shows on TV right now, produced by Paul Rudd perhaps you've heard of him.
It's actually a pretty funny show, if you have netflix you can actually stream the first season.
This show is HILARIOUS im so glad that they are doing this show. It may be a small show but sometimes there good kept secrets. they are all mostly aspiring actors/actresses with ridiculous drama involved if you havnt seen it you deff need to check it out

it's done by rob thomas, the same guy who created veronica mars. that is why kristen bell has done cameos on this show. many other veronica mars alum either star in the show or have done guest appearances. jane lynch was a character on the show last season but left to do glee, which is why megan mullaly is on the show. jane lynch even did a guest appearance on veronic mars.

This is the second time you have belittled Party Down without having watched it. Of course, this is your website and you are entitled to your opinions. BUT you can't formulate coherent opinions without knowing the facts. So please watch at least an episode before you make criticisms (to save yourself the embarrassment of coming across to your readers as even more of a presumptuous ass). And you will evidently be surprised to find out that these esteemed stars are not doing the show out of desperation or loyalty, that in fact, it is a witty comedy that deserves much more acclaim than it has received.
If you read these comments, or scan back to the last time you mocked this show, you will see that it is unanimously loved by your readers. I have not seen a negative word on here about it.

you should check out Party Down..it's in the same vein as The Office and Arrested Development…lots of great talent on and off screen…Paul Rudd, Fred Savage…try watching before judging.

This show has been free to watch on the interwebs for quite a while now, and has had numerous positive reviews in many industry publications. Paul Rudd and Rob Thomas are some the creators and writers of it. Kristen Bell and Jane are no hugh stars but they are working actors who seem to get involved in many projects for one reason or another. I am sure they are both happy to work on a funny show along with some show biz friends. Not everything that actor get involved in is going to be a big time show. It is like doing an art house movie that only a small portion of people will see. Some things are about passion and are away to reach a new audience. I makes me angry the way you belittle something with out any merit to do so. I am not sure if you are just trying to get reactions or if you are stupid and do not seem to understand the way things work in the world.
Kristen Bell is absolutely fabulously gorgeous and amazingly talented. Veronic a Mars was the coolest thing to come out of 2000 and…..we will definitely see a whole lot more of this beautiful woman.

This show is fantastic! BOTH actresses have been working with Rob Thomas, the creator, for over 5 years. I really like it when stars remember their roots like KB is. Give the show a try. Very dry humor and deadpan comedy, which is exactly what both of these actresses are known for.

Yes - this show is awesome! When you reported Megan Mullaly joining the cast, many people pointed out its good critical reputation. The show is hilarious. It's just that Starz is a fledgling network with no reputation for series tv.

It's a TV series about these men and woman who want to make it big in Hollywood. They worked for business that caters parties. Lots of big name celebs have been on the show. Adam Scott who played Derek in Step Brother's is one of the main characters. Last season George Takei was on the show. It's a great and super funny show. I think you should watch it before you judge it.
