As one of Michael Jackson's dearest and closest friends, Elizabeth Taylor was among the few in attendance to watch an advanced screening of the upcoming film This Is It.

Liz hosted the private screening at MGM and invited her boyfriend Jason Winters, her son and his wife, as well as Marlon Brando's son and MJ's former assistant. In fact Jackson's entire staff was at the screening.

By the end of the film, Elizabeth led a standing ovation and announced that "the film was pure genius and the most magnificent film."

Not long now before it's released to the rest of us!

Do U have your ticket?

the whole thing w/ MJ has been tragic. I know when he was at his height of fame, I was a kid and loved him too. I have to admit I that I want to see the movie when I heard "Human Nature" and yes it stirred up some emotions for me. He was ahead of his time yet everyone around just kept taking from him. His dad is creepy and i THINK he did kill off his own son for the fame and money. MJ was once a kid too…

  16. 16

of course it is PURE GENIUS and MAGNIFICENT…
its to do with MJ… :)

Re: cyip73 – What kind of drugs are you on?Last time I checked a quack named Murray murdered MJ,and you can be sure there are some powerful people behind his ass.You should abstain from making idiotic and totally ignorant comments.People like you are really scary!

  19. 19

    a standing ovation?!!!!can she???

  20. 20

Liz was one of the few people that I would actually call MJ's true friend. I am not surprised that she saw the movie first, my only question is why wasn't Dianna Ross there?

  21. 21

I can't wait until Oct. 27th! I love the fact that the first showing will start at the same time around the world. I'm going to be crying my eyes out but I will also be happy when looking at him do what it is that he did best on that stage. I will also be happy knowing that alot of people who doubted him will realize that Michael never lost his gift of music and dance. I have seen just about every "This is It" preview a thousand times and the previews show me that Michael and his team was going to really put on a great show like always. "This is It" wasn't a comeback, it was just an eye opener to those who thought Michael had lost his shine. Heck, Michael was out dancing his 20year old back up dancers and showing them choreography.

You should answer your own question for us, Perez… Do you have yours? You couldn't possibly have tickets to a show surronding a person who passed away but in reality was "faking" the whole thing from the get-go, right?? If you do have tickets, please sit in the wayyy back. If fans saw you in the theatre it could very well mess up part of their experience. All the crap you talked about Michael. You probably have more tickets then us fans.

  26. 26

    its gonna be bad ass

  27. 27

of course! i'm crazy excited! michael was, is, and will always be the best
