Madonna To Write, Direct And Possibly Star In Film?
Here we go again!
Madonna's film ambitions have resurfaced and if history has taught us anything, they do NOT usually go over well.
Madge has co-written the film W.E. with Alex Keshishian which is about Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson who were the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
Set to direct the film, Madonna's even getting advice from ex-hubby Guy Ritchie when it comes to casting decisions. He's suggesting meetings with Mark Strong and Tony Kebbell who had roles in his flick RocknRolla.
She needs a big name, though, to finance the project as her name alone won't guarantee anything. So far Her Madgesty is only involved in the writing and directing process.
We hope she steers clear of starring in the movie because, let's be honest, it might just tank.
Your acting chops just aren't up to your musical ones, 'bb! But we still love ya.

She can make all the money she wants from her tours but what she REALLY wants is to be accepted by the Academy of Motion Pictures. That will never happen. Yeah, I heard about this. Filth and Wisdom was kooky indie fun…Madonna knows how to direct, she's been working with directors for 27 years. Also, Madonna IS NOT starring in this film. She wants someone like Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchett or kate Winslet. Guy is helping her with casting (allegedly). But i seriously doubt Madonna will be in the movie herself.
BTW, this story is SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOO old. I heard about it weeks ago when she was talking about it with Ryan Secrest and even weeks before I read about it on line.
Yeah I had to watch her movie in theater class. It was the lamest movie ever and before that I had no idea the movie existed so NO DON'T DO ANOTHER.

Better check your facts, idiot. Madonna has sold over 200 million albums - this does not include singles or videos. Mariah, on the other hand, has sold 175 million combined albums, singles and videos - quite a bit less than Madonna.

1) Ritche would so LOVE to see Madonna make a fool of herself by making another film bomb. "lets not make "it" angry!"
2) Alex Keshishian did Love and Other Disasters, AND IT WAS A DISASTER!! I wouldn't trust him with another film, let alone a period piece.
3) Anybody else notice that Madge looks more crossed eyed than Kate Moss in that photo?

Not including singles and videos. 200 million is actually a really modest estimate. Madonna was selling records before Neilsen Soundscan and The United World Chart even existed. Plus, Madonna has sold MILLIONS and MILLIONS of singles and music videos. Mariah's own label has come out and said she has sold over 175 million in singles, videos and albums. Sorry to break it to you, but Madonna has sold far more in every way. I'm not just pulling facts out of my ass as you are either. Check her stats mother fucker.
