I am reading the first book to see what the fuss is about. The book is just awful, amateurishly written trash. Every other word is either "glorious," "chagrin," "chuckled," "perfect," or some variation on "angel-faced." Spare me! The story might be fine, but the writing is so distractingly bad I can't enjoy the fun plot. I will probably watch the movies when they come out on HBO. I hope they are better than the crappy books.

But there are plenty of young adult and kid books that are well-written — I do not allow the argument that young adult or kid readers deserve less than well-written books. Harry Potter, anyone? How great are those books!? Well worth the hype. Enjoy the Twilight books if you want to, but know that you are not enjoying anything approaching literature. Don't fool yourself: they're just basically cookie-cutter romance novels written by a not-very-talented writer, and you are not a very perceptive reader if you can't tell the difference between quality fiction and something that should have Fabio on its cover.
Re: sweetiebird – Sorry to disappoint you but the movie is way worse. The acting is so stilted and horrible and none of them show any range of emotions. I happened to like the series of books, but won't waste my $ on the movies. Plus they ruined it by the casting anyways.

I will let you all know these facts, i have no reason to lie and i know alot more that i will never write online in fear of getting caught. Here are the basic facts,
1)Rob was hooking up with nikki reed first 2)He hooks up with ashley when they can, their first time was last year. 3) Nikki cut all ties with him when she found out about his hooking up with kristen. 4) He has definetly hooked up with at least one person other than kristen while he has been filming eclipse. How do i know, well i was told by someone that he has hooked up with. And the way they speak, they think rob flirts so much that they would not have put it past him to have been hooking up with others as well behind kristen's back.
If she thinks he is being faithful well she is in for an awful shock. I can never get in trouble because all i am saying is the absolute truth. It will all come out in the end anyway, i promise you will see that i was in the know all along.

i just watched the Break Up scene _again_. i cannot believe how bad the acting is. then i rewatched the volturi scene on yahoo (suckie site) and i swear michael sheen and the other volturi elders all have lisps. and thinks he's like in a comedy. but the Break Up scene is the worse. how come you haven't posted it here mario? the one i watched looked like it was shot with a mobile phone in a screening room somewhere in bulgaria.
