Noel Gallagher To Go Solo

Not surprised!
After a big blow-out with his brother Liam Gallagher, former Oasis member Noel Gallagher is going to embark on a solo project:
"I'm looking forward to doing my own thing, bringing out my own music. I'm glad that's what people want to hear. I am not thinking about much else, Oasis or Liam, I'm just having a good time."
Noel left Oasis back in August after his brother made some inappropriate comments about the paternity of his daughter, Anais.
We wish you the best, Noel, but we're not sure how likely it is you'll replicate the success of Oasis!

I recall reading somewhere else that wasn't the reason he dropped out of Oasis.

He WAS the reason for the success of Oasis. He was the one who wrote the music and wrote the lyrics. Liam did fuck all when it came to the band. Honestly, Noel is doing the best thing. And when you listen to him and Liam sing, Noel is also a much, much, much better vocalist and it isn't even close. Liam fucked up big time.
let's not forget that noel is, essentially, oasis. the real question is what is liam gonna do without the songwriter, musician, producer, etc.?

there could never have been an Oasis without Noel, he wrote the first three albums before the rest of the band started to contribute musically. Noel is amazing, I can't wait for his solo stuff.

Noel writes music, plays musical instruments and writes lyrics and had a good singing voice. He does not need Laim

Oasis are one of the best bands, their music is amazing. NOEL writes everything, he makes all the music, and yeah he has a better voice than Liam. Noel's acoustics are fucking amazing.

I attended an Oasis show in TO where he was attacked on stage by a concert goer- I think he deserved what he got!

1) that's not the reason he left at all, he challenged the legitimacy of his paternaty ages and ages a go,
and 2) he was the reason for the success of Oasis so there's no reason why he can't replicate it.
Noel WAS oasis - he wrote the songs, he kept liam under control. can't wait to hear his stuff.
