To celebrate the debut of the world's largest cruise ship, Rihanna will be boarding the Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas on November 19th for a private concert!

We had no idea cruise ships had that sort of draw!!

Rihanna will be performing as a part of the big ship's three-night "preview voyage," popping the boat's outdoor AquaTheater's cherry, before the 5,400-passenger ship sets sail in December.

This is beyond pathetic to sing on a cruise ship! Has Rhianna lost her mind? Whoever is managing her needs to be fired immediately for making such a disasterous career decision right when she is supposed to be an industry heavyweight! I have been on a cruise and it is full of wanna be singers who were the best singers in their high school and couldn't cut it anywhere else. This is a total mismangement of her career!

Perez, are you freaking kidding me?! You must've never been on a cruise. They're freaking AMAZING. Gourmet meals, amazing on-shore trips, full salon and spa…. ohhh boy. I'm going on a 10 day Southern Caribbean cruise in January.

Besides, it's the biggest freaking cruise ship in the world… what better than to have the world's hottest act?

Her career had momentum at one point but now its like the same thing being served time after time. The same beats the same songs…boring. Her new song is not all that either but above all I don't feel sorry for her and you shouldn't either. Its not like the bitch will be go hungry anyway.

Re: Oh Resist Her – AMEN!! I'm a loyal cruiser, and I'm only 26. I'm taking my 6th and 7th next year. You can't top snorkeling along reefs where two feet to the left, you see a cliff go down for a mile, swimming with dolphins and more. The ships have great entertainment too - some have been as great as the real Cirque Du Soleil, and lots of performers have performed. I hate AI when they knock and say "so sing there" because quite frankly, some of the people that perform there are about 20 times better than what's on the radio. Mark B. was on a ship one time - amazing acoustic guitarist. My parents actually saw Charo (funny though rather than top notch), there are Richard Cheese style performers, amazing pianists (some of the best in the world have performed on ships) and so much more!! But hey, go pay hundreds to see Kanye Crap for a few hours, or Gagme or spend a few hundreds to take a 7 night trip through Mexico, the Virgin Islands - swim with stingrays and barracudas, lie on the beach and drink away… but I do hate Rihanna.

i love cruising, about to take my 19th one next month. the oasis is RCI's newest ship, they're amping it up big time. i mean, it's not a horrible gig. don't forget, john mayer charters an entire carnival cruise ship for his "mayercraft" cruise each year. i guess cruising is getting trendy, lol.
