Dawson Leery Returns To TV

We bet he really misses the days when Katie Holmes used to come into his bedroom late at night.

Ah, the good, ol' - less crazy days!

James Van Der Beek has landed himself a gig on. ABC's The Forgotten. James will be playing a "sleazy moneyman" named Judd Shaw, who is "a deceptive and opportunistic financial broker questioned by The Forgotten Network."

How come the only roles James gets these days are creepy? Is he trying to tell us something?

Well he's pretty good at creppy rules. All in all i think he is a brilliant actor, hope he gets more jobs.

I thought that was Luke Perry!?

Ever since he and John Wesley Shipp broke up, it's been downhill. Even after JWS was killed off "Dawson's Creek", he'd hang around the set in a creepy "Anne Heche " way. It's been said whenever JWS goes to gay bars in GA, he's upset when he's not recognized.

After James, JWS started dating Rod Jackson (-Paris).

I was going to say the same thing, why are his most recent roles creepy characters? I miss the days of early Dawson's Creek. Maybe he should guest spot on Fringe with his old castmate Joshua Jackson.

He already did in his guess spot on "One Tree Hill." Duh dumbass.

For a show that is on the verge of being cancelled, this is their last attempt to gain an audience? Another one season wonder.

Re: pusspuss – I saw some shitty movie on I believe NBC about killer weather storms attacking the Earth (gotta love NBC) and Luke Perry and James Van Der
Beek were both in it and acted side by side and the resemblance is kind of strange (as is the trajectory of their post teen angst TV show careers, similar).

he's good in all of his roles. it's hard to find someone that can pull off playing a creepy role.
