Even MORE Drama At Chuck E. Cheese!
Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & True > Legal Matters
What in the world is going on with Chuck E. Cheese?!?
Since earlier this year, several incidents have occurred at Chuck E. Cheese locations throughout the US. There have been robberies, fights, abandoned kids, selling of liquor to minors - and the list goes on and on.
Not exactly a "kid-friendly" environment.
And if you recall, back in January of this year, one Chuck E. Cheese location in Susquehanna Township, Pennsylvania, had been called out for its many problems with the law.
The cops had been called to the restaurant 12 times the year earlier for disorderly conduct, assault, and theft, leading to 13 arrests, only one of which was a juvenile. The year before that, police made 18 visits to the establishment.
And now this year the list keeps getting bigger for them.
Police were again called to that Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday evening after reports of a fight. The cops got there and arrested a 16-year-old girl who was believed to be the "main aggressor" in the fight according to police documents.
The idiot continued to act disorderly and then tried to flee from cops, resisted arrest, and was finally charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and resisting arrest before she was released to her family.
Stoopid Sad.
But that wasn't the only incident that night. While cops were there arresting the crazy 16-year-old, they found a 2-year-old little boy who had been left there by his family.
They also found a special needs 20-year-old woman who managed to leave Chuck E. Cheese on her own and had to be stopped by the officers before running into traffic.
Thankfully both the young boy and the woman were returned to their families and police are investigating both incidents.
Maybe Chuck E. Cheese should invest in some better security?????

SHUT THIS CHAIN DOWN!!!!!!!
Perez have you been to one of them latly. Most of them are full of trash. And im not talking Paper or Plastic.
All's I know is, her parents should not have brought her, a sixteen-year-old, to that place. That age is around the age where walking in there is like walking into a hell.
I thought this was a CELEBRITY blog? What is with Perez's weird obsession with Chuck E Cheese? Only losers take their dumb ugly kids to that nasty money pit.
Every time I was taken to Chuck E. Cheese as a child, I made a point to badger the hell out of the big costumed "Chuck" by running up from behind and yanking his tail. Eventually, I got a whole army of other little monster brats to help me yank his tail and we took that sucker down so hard. But yeah, I've also heard of them finding heroine needles and poop in those ball bins.
I've been to this Chuck E Cheese and was accused of 'bumping' into a young lady who thought she was ShaNayNay. She was cussing and causing a huge scene in front of a bunch of little kids…cussing and everything. I had to walk away….when I really wanted to slap her for being stupid.
Re: Sharon Mirrors – If you did that then where would mario hang out?
Re: Moldy Cheese – Agreed, WTF is up with the obsessive posts? I'm sure there is trouble at various McDonalds all the time, so bizarre!
@Embo, McDonalds doesn't sell alcohol.
Personally, Perez, I appreciate your news on Chuck E. Cheese. It's not really covered by any of the major news outlets as far as I've seen.
Lastly, I think Chuck E. Cheese has become the poor man's Dave N Busters. I'm just glad all the kids in my family are past that stage.
I personally love P's updates on CEC, although I do agree it would make more sense for them to be featured on another site, like the Consumerist.
Chuck E. Cheese is lame
woooooohooooo! yeah, I live in the area and it's pretty epic but I'm glad to see us on perez again
I have no clue why, but when I read the first couple paragraphs I laughed. Anyway, thats awful.
CEC isnt doing ANYTHING wrong. Its the people who go there. OBVIOUSLY.
You cant tell if someone is gonna fight that day by looking at them. Esp if there is a ghetto population - people would scream racism.
Grown ass people should stay away from CEC. It is meant for kids ages 2-12.
I had to host a party for a 21 year old once. Seriously! Go somewhere else!
The reason this is happening at Chuck E Cheese because only trashy low-life would take their families to such a crap establishment with worse than high school cafeteria food. Id rather eat a terd than Crap E Cheese's pizza!!!!
Re: sicchick452 – I live in the area too! Go PA! Even if it is for some whack ass shit. We got those crazy Gosselins too!
I don't understand why they're serving alcohol to anyone. It's a place for little kids, not a Dave & Buster's. I'm starting to think only ghetto people go to Chuck E. Cheese, they have way too many incidents requiring police intervention.
I think Perez used to work at Chucki Cheese, because he really has it out for them. MAJORLY! Like why the fuck would people come to a celebrity site to read about chucki cheese????
Hes talked shit about GLADD (his former employer, which must have burned him) so it wouldn't surprise me if this is some kind of vendetta he has against CC.
He likes to point out 18 inceidents, but lets look up how many reports there were last year of parents leaving their kids in the mcdonalds playground, or fights happening in mcdonalds line ups etc.
I generally like Perez, but I hate when he does this bullshit. He is so desperate to tarnish this companies name…. to the point of obsession!
LMAO.
Was this in Paducah, Kentucky? I wouldn't doubt it.
Chunky Cheese needs to invest in better patrons.
This is so awful. This is a place where parents should be able to take there kids for fun and enjoyment. What has happened here?
It's not the restaurant, it's the morons that go there and expect it to be a babysitting service. Lazy scumbag parents dropping their little shits off at Chuck E. Cheese, then they wonder why something goes wrong?
yeah… i dont get why these awful things are hapening at Chuck E. Cheese's of all places. Go figure!
Twenty bucks says the 16 year old was a Mommy of one of the kids…
i think your right about the secruity
HAH! this chuck e cheese's is the one i used to go to when i was little! never saw any crime there though…
The place is always full of beaners that's why it's like that. They 16 year old was probably the mom!
In a lot of these cases, the parent or caregiver is responsible. CC is not a babysitting service, and ultimately, it's up to the person who brought the child to keep an eye on them. And the special needs child, tho sad, is an adult, so what would give CC the right to stop them from leaving? the 16 year old should be at the mall. Don't get me wrong, I hate the place, and my 6 year old has never been, but I wouldn't expect employees to watch every move.
Re: Moldy Cheese – Fuck you dude, I just took my daughter there and we had a blast. Parents need to watch there fucking kids better.
i actually live near this particularly *ghetto* chuck e. cheese. when i was a kid, this area was nice and i used to go there for birthday parties. but now, i wouldn't even take my kids to that shopping center - the whole place is so broken down and ghetto and nestled right between two housing projects. what do you expect, really?
This place is right up the street from me. Funny this is such a quiet area, it must be in the pizza…..
Re: natbugsmomma – no need to bring them up please! I would rather be asociated with CEC
Re: odearme – By housing project I guess you mean a hotel and a mcdonalds…guess you havne't actually been around here in a while……..
Sorry, I can't help. I would like to as I enjoy Chuck E. Cheese franchises immensely. They serve delicious food.
I am down to a few scrawny rodents for a "security" team. Unfortunatley they would eat all the cheese and be to tired to actually be of any use in a real emergency. I have had this experience in the past. Maybe Chuck E. Cheese could encourage families to play together!!
