From TV to Video Game

Discovery Communications is getting playful with two of its top-rated series. You can now enjoy all the thrills of Man vs. Wild and Deadliest Catch in the palm of your hand, or at least through your Playstation.

The shows are being turned into video games for PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. The "action-oriented" games are suppose to "mirror a lot of what happens on the show."

For example, in the Wild game, Bear Grylls guides players as they create a character and use survival skills in various landscapes and climates.

We suppose you can guess what the Deadliest Catch game will be like - you go fishing.

The fishing game launches sometime this coming spring while the other one will be out at the end of 2011.

The world of video games just got a little bit lamer!

Re: Zombie Hitler – What, no calling Will I Am names, getting socked for the trouble, making a whiny 12 min. video? What about having a food fight on the dance floor and making a monkey of the fire marshal? No sniffing Sliimy's ass or Lady Garbled? Earn points for insulting people and get to wear the coveted Mother Teresa toga!

deadliest catch already had a PC game and as a fan of the show I enjoyed it for a while - I'll definitely check out the PS3 version if there is a demo!

Yeah, like the other day some macho asshole was at my house telling me that black bears eat meat. He SO pissed off the entire bear community that day that they have decided to make an example of this man. Very soon this will happen… So, play your video games and watch tv. I am not afraid of black bears. They only want you to scratch the spot near their ears that they can't reach on their own, that's all……
