J.Lo's Ex To Forge Ahead With "Mockumentary", Despite Cease & Desist

We think it's time to pull out the South Side Bronx side of Jennifer Lopez.
Perhaps her ex, Ojani Noa will be more fearful of her enraged Latina fierceness than he is with her more professional approach to shut down his movie.
We reported that J.Lo sent out a cease and desist order to her ex-husband, ordering him to halt production on How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-lo and and Ojani Noa Story, his comedic take on their life together.
Ojani doesn't seem too concerned as reports are suggesting that he is laughing off the request and continuing forward with his plans for the movie. He is said to already have producers and a director in place and casting for the "mockumentary" about his relationship with J.Lo will happen soon.
Ojani's production partner, Ed Meyer, insists that the cease and desist order holds no weight, and released this statement explaining:
"Citing a 2007 injunction against writing about Lopez’s personal life, the letter signed by attorney John Lavely states that the film constitutes ‘a blatant and malicious violation of my client’s legal rights and undeniably violates the clear command of the Court’s injunction’. It continues: ‘Your announced intention to produce a motion picture… about Noa and Lopez and their tumultuous marriage (as characterized on the website) violates the injunction.’
The 2007 injunction prevents Noa from licensing, disseminating, distribution… any book manuscript or other written materials which contain private or intimate details about Lopez or Noa’s relationship with Lopez. But this is a 100 percent parody, and, as such, is not impacted by the injunction.”
Somehow, we're sure J.Lo's lawyers are not that dumb. Maybe you're not reading the injunction correctly. Those things are usually written with a lot of big words!
This thing will never see the light of day, but boy, do we wish it would! Imagine all the juicy deets we would get about Jenny from the block!
