Kate Brings In Top Ratings Without Jon

As we mentioned before, TLC aired a special episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 this week, featuring a Q & A with Kate Gosselin. No Jon!
The questions varied from her failed marriage to her alleged affair. We thought they'd shy away from those types of questions.
But it seems the viewers loved it. The hour-long episode was a hit with the ratings.
The special brought in 3 million viewers! That's huge for a cable show.
The final episode featuring the Gosselin kids is scheduled to air on November 23rd.
After that, it's in the hands of the attorneys to see if Jon Gosselin can get his way and keep his kids off TV.
And, yes, he's still a douche.

i LOVED when she talked about the Kate Gosselin wig for halloween and how she got one. LOL
They're both douches. And, it's painfully clear, Perez, that you've never watched the show before this whole "break-up" mess started. Otherwise, you'd NEVER be taking that harpie's side on anything. I hope those kids get off the TV once and for all, and then make tons o money later in life writing tell-all books about their money-grubbing mom.
I LOVED this show in the beginning.
The finger pointing and the he-said, she-said crap is getting tiring.
Neither one of them is a great parent. Kate should stay home more, and stop complaining about how hard it is to raise her kids… we all know she has multiple helpers to make her life easier. Jon should stop being hypocritical (No one is allowed to film my kids but me!) and badmouthing the kids mother to the tabloids.
They BOTH should stop the filming of their children. I am not just talking about the show, I am talking about the photo opportunities in the yard. Let them play in the back or inside. Plant some shrubs or put up a privacy fence. You can certainly afford it, with all the millions you've made.
Once both of them stay out of the spotlight for a while, interest will die down and the kids can (hopefully) lead a normal life.
I cant stand either of them. Especially Kate.
I missed it. I've always thought kate was a good mom.

Huge for cable? When they premiered this season to TEN million? Each post, I'm increasingly wondering how much the check TLC writes you is for!
3 words: Last Desperate Attempt. Face it Kate. The public still sees you for the manipulative bitch that you are. The public loved the Q&A alright. It showed just how phony you are!
I like her and will stay tuned for stuff she is on. I at least want to see her pull through this crap her douchy ex is doing it seems like he is actively trying to ruin her life and doesn't care if he takes his kids down with her.
The questions were all things that she wanted to discuss, basically things that we already know, nothing good like, Do you wish that you went to therapy with Jon? or why didn't you work harder on your marriage if not for the sake of the kids? Or like How did you expect to raise 8 kids with you not working and Jon a douche bag? or How do you feel about Jon dating your tummy tuck surgeons daughter?
No she talked about why she has a house cleaner, why she dresses the way she does, oh and how she loves to wear heels, and that she would like to be in a MOVIE!!! It was all I do this, I have this Kate STFU!!!!!!!!!!!

What is this fuckery? WHO watches this show? WHO are you? Identify yourselves. Now look in the mirror, and realize that you are a complete loser. That's right: if you watch this show, you are a hopeless, worthless loser. One of my patients has told me that he creeps around suburban neighborhoods looking in the windows, and if he sees this show on the tv, he wants to burn the house down. I'm going to tell him that's a great idea, and I hope he visits YOUR house.

Kate did a decent job. A bit of humor, some thoughtfulness and maintaining the persona that is going to become her signature. She is a bit irreverent and spunky, yet balances it off with a down-to-earth outlook. She'll be a success. Bigger now because, every slap Jon takes at her makes her closer to sainthood. And you can quote me on that.

What is up with the Kate haters, I dont really think the woman has done a thing wrong. They got 8 kids and the show was on the learning channel for heavens sake, its like the hello kitty show in a world full of violent tv. They where lucky to have to work minimally and have one parent with the children at all times most households are not that lucky and live in reality with kids in day care all day. I think most of the animosity towards Jon is that people geniunely liked this couple and to watch the train wreck was dissapointing and sad. And I think women relate to this in the way that who wants to see their husband go off with a woman ten years younger and party like he's 20. Its got to feel pretty crappy and who really deserves that its not like she robbed a bank or stole from homeless people, who cares about nitpicky home drama. And the people defending Jon like he deserves to party, be wealthy and have young girlfriends the man has 8 children party time is over and nobody cares how old you are when you had them. Heck when i was 24 my kid was already 8.
Kate has been murdered in blogs and mags because she is getting divorced when more people are divorced in the world than not. She wants to support her kids. Kate was herself on her show and some loved her for it and some hated her for it but people WATCHED the show. Kate will survive no matter how much AJ Hammer from Showbiz Tonight, and Chris for the Insider HATE her. Kate will have a career in TV.
i watched - she seemed very real, caring, and well-meaning. She's not perfect but she seems like a good, caring mom to those kids.
The only reason so many people watched it was because they wanted to be nosy & see what she was gonna say or if she was going to talk shit about Jon. They didn't watch it for who or what the show was going to be, they watched it to see what drama would start from it.

because just as the "divorce show" this show also brought in ratings. give it time.. she'll sink into the deep just like her husband. tick, tick, tick. her 15 minutes are just about up.

How everyone so soon forgets how she treated Jon in front of millions of ppl every single week for years but now she is the "poor little thing" and Jon is an idiot. IMO he deserves a little payback and she deserves absolutely nothing at all. She is the biggest phoney and everyone falls for her BS. I would make a bet that now that Jon is gone she is doing all of her bitching to her 8 kids cuz there is no one else to bitch at. Oh those poor little kids indeed.
