I think her self tanning products are making her look dirty. Perhaps they stained her face.

I read recently that she is estranged from Dina also. So she has no family that cares about her around. Her father I believe does care about her out of all of them, its a shame that he is such a media whore so Lindsay is probably afraid to meet with him. Knowing Michael he will have the paparazzi there and sell the story to the highest bidder on his daughters "recovery". So in this case she shouldn't trust Michael either since his motive clearly has money and fifteen minutes of fame attached to it. He wants to be like Jaime Spears so if she gets her life back on track he can control all her finances and cut himself a huge paycheck. Lindsay comes from a fd up family an Samantha is right to cut ties with her. Sam not that shes attractive by any standards looks the same and is working while Lindsay looks and acts strung out on drugs and alcohol. So obviously Sam has moved on. The next time she calls the police over something stupid they should arrest her and place her on a 5150 hold.
What is happening here with her eyes at least is from drugs - notice her extremely small pupils, a hallmark of prescription pain pill abuse. They also make the eyes very light sensitive, which is why she is always squinting
