U2 Announced More 360 Tour Dates For Next Year!
Filed under: Music Minute > Bono
U2 is trying to break even with their 360 tour. As we mentioned last month, even though the band had been selling out its concerts, they had yet to make any profits because their show was that expensive to produce.
And according to projections, the band wouldn't break even until they were done with the North American leg of their U2 360 tour this month.
But good news for them, the band has announced MORE tour date$!
Looks like 2010 will bring even more U2 concerts and hopefully a chance for them to make some money. Not like they need it anyway.
U2 will mark its return to North America when they perform at Anaheim's Angel Stadium on June 6th next year.
The band will end with their European tour next October, performing their final show in Portugal. But good luck getting tickets for that. Both of their last two shows in Portugal are already sold out. They also have sold out shows in Denmark, France, Belgium, and other locations.
Check out their complete tour lineup….after the jump.

Saw there live concert on YouTube! Amazing! I will def get tickets for Toronto! Thanks Perez!
God I hate U2. Nothing worse than a whiney, self-indulgent rocker.
Old news from Sunday…they are already have plenty of cash. It was a great show…that was their point.
NICE…Way to support Detroit D-Bags! Detroit and MI have the worst US economy and people here need a morale boost!

Saw them in 04', one of the BEST CONCERT'S EVER!!
Your angle alludes to U2 as somehow mismanaging things so much that they had to schedule more dates to make money. Not the case. It's called a business plan, it's been in effect since the beginning of tour planning, and you lack common sense "perez writer".
They are such a shit band.
U-2 SUKS! Big Ones!
LOL. I thought I could get my fiance U2 tickets for Christmas — but they're playing here in Toronto on our Wedding Day!!! We're not going!
Too bad no Boston date. I was just a wee lad when a portion of The Unforgettable Fire
was recorded at a show I was at in Boston at the smallish Orpheum Theater. Maybe they will announce a date at Fenway Park (only one or two artists get to perform here each year), that would be nice.
Also just to put this out there "No Line On The Horizon" will win the Grammy over Lady Gaga's "Fame (with or without Monster). But she will be nominated.
Bono is a twat
Will they just retire or die
OH OH OH ANNNNNNNNNNND… U2 GETS SPECIAL TAX RATES!!! SO NOT ONLY DO THEY MAKE THOUSANDS IF NOT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY AS MUCH TAXES AS EVERYONE ELSE IN IRELAND!!!
TO USE CHARITY TO BOOST RECORD & TICKET SALES IS SERIOUSLY NOT COOL!!!
meh, not that excited.
