But He's Sorry! Bahamian Politician Apologizes For Travolta Mistrial
Filed under: John Travolta > Legal Matters
The Bahamian politician whose comments incited a mistrial in the John Travolta case says he's sorry!
A little too late for sorries!
Picewell Forbes told reporters that the comments he made at an October 22nd Progressive Liberal Party rally were "reckless… and interfered with the course of justice in that case and were further capable of bringing disrepute to the whole administration of justice."
Forbes had announced to the rally's crowd that former Bahamian Senator Pleasant Bridgewater was a "free woman" before Travolta's trial was complete.
So, according to lawmakers, the not-so-bright politician may be held in contempt of court.
Good!

Painful.
Leave the clams John. Leave the clams.
Yeah well you didn't mention that he apologized to everyone in the Bahamas but didn't apologize to the people who deserved it…Travoltas!! This jerk should have stated it to THEM since he screwed their trial and are going to forced them to relive this horrible experience all over again. What an ass…I hope he gets charged!
I am a Bahamian and I personally think he should get charged. He apologized to everyone else except the Travoltas. They are going to have to relive this painful experience all over again! I hope they lay a harsh punishment on his *ss!
