Hatcher Has The Swine Flu!

Uh-Oh! Add her to the list!!!
We just got word that the cast and crew of Desperate Housewives are on high alert after learning that Teri Hatcher has come down with the swine flu H1N1 virus.
We're told that she picked a great time to get sick as the show is just starting to shoot the super-hyped plane crashing episode.
Already, scenes with all the women have had to be rescheduled while she recovers.
Get better soon!
Hopefully, you haven't spread the sick around!

Oh Lord Have Mercy - it's gonna be a long winter if we have to hear about each and every star..er..celebrity, who gets the swine flu. Does anyone else think this is important news? Hey, I had a cold last week

Interesting how the hospitals aren't testing to determine if you have Swine or regular flu anymore because the treatment for each is exactly the same and yet EVERY single publicist is claiming that their client has "Swing Flu". Are they paying for private tests to confirm this? Or do they just think lying about it it is a way to get their clients name in the paper?
I hope she recovers ok.
it's because she started it, that pig named Teri!
"Perez you ignorant slut"
At least you are making an effort to tone down the inaccurate nomenclature Swine Flu in favor of the correct H1N1. Now just try a little harder and I can stop calling HIV, the monkey virus.
Re: Spindoc – I think you are right on both accounts. I think some celebs and studio insurance companies are insisting on having the test and footing the costs.
It is also worth noting that it is way to early for the seasonal flu so for now the logical claim is if the patient has symptoms A, B, and C they have H1N1. I worked at a cancer hospital where we spent a large part of the winter testing for various bacterial and viral illnesses in the chemo/immunosuppressed patients. We had to report the Influenza statistics to the public health dept. and I imagine this is still true and that is why conventional flu has not been diagnosed/reported yet.
I am a total cynic but I can't by into celebs claiming this for attention, but I am cynical enough to think they may do it to get their way over plot issues or even to just "check out" for a week.
it's always good to be positive and cheerful. of course preventative care is best for defending against things like the swine flu. public places like computer labs on busy days can be dangerous since there's always some guy sitting next to you. that's why when I go there, I pick the back row with aisle seating. That's not always safe though. Luckily people usually only stay there for a sec or two since it's the daytime during work hours. Today was a prime example. There was this dude with a pink screen and naked dudes on it. See what the aisle's are for, and scooting towards them, and why the manly cough was invented and of course why there's incessant clicking back to espn
I really don't like her…. bleh
people should read the story before commenting. when someone is feeling better, its good to tell a funny story to make them laugh and make em feel even better
damn look at the time shannon. mcdonalds must have beat him by one minute. i i think i even beat mj and the miley virus. and sorry dinner guests just left. i just didn't love the way the prancing star came across i'm clear of peeps now
I know you were being sarcastic in an attempt to be funny, but I'm certain Ms. Hatcher did not choose to get sick. Considering how serious this illness can be, it's in bad taste to joke about it.
Say what you will, its not fun no matter who you are, I currently have the stupid flu….and it really isn't that different from the regular flu. I hope she gets better, at least she can get the stupid vaccine, up here, I have to wait awhile.
