Hulk Hogan Returns To The Ring!

Filed under: TV News > Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is refusing to let that wrestling career of his die!

Hogan is all signed up to be a wrestler for TNA Wrestling, the new wrestling organization created by beefcake cable network giant Spike TV.

Isn't the Hulk a little on the old side to be prancing around in spandex???

Hogan is "thrilled" to be joining TNA, according to a statement the former WWE wrestler released.

He says:

"My fans have been asking me to return to the business for many years on a full time basis, but the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now. TNA Wrestling is a great company with an already excellent fan base and business. I firmly believe now is the time for TNA to jump to the next level in their development and I’m here to help make that a reality."

Will U watch?

Get your story right. He's the new BOSS.

  2. 2

Good for you Hulk. Now that your divorce is final and your bitch wife brat kids are gone, go out and make yourself more money than ever and build back a fortune for yourself. You deserve it. This time don't let them all take advantage of you.

  3. 3

hes not the new boss. but he will pretty much decide the outcome of everything like he did in wcw. i hope tna does good because i cant stand the little kid stuff in wwe anymore.

  4. 4

watch? of course, he IS wrestling, like it or not!

  5. 5

He probably won't wrestle much (if at all), TNA Wrestling isn't new (it's been around since 2002), and it wasn't created by Spike TV (it started on PPV, then went to FoxSports, THEN it went to Spike in 2005). Other than that, top notch reporting job there, Perez.

…where will he hide his colostomy bag?

  7. 7

…oh, that's right. he divorced her!

  8. 8

OHHHH LOOOORD! You'd think he'd get the message. And btw, TNA is most probably owned by the WWE, as ALL their people turn up there. The second Mick Foley and Kurt Angle showed up, it was obvious.

Hogan will never FULLY retire because he's got nowhere else to go.

  9. 9

Just give it up already! It's time to move on.

  10. 10

One thing, tna is not new, tna has been around for about 6 or 7 years now, im sorry but hogan joining tna will be a huge miss, TNA is known for signing old wwe rejects, they have amazing wrestlers but they loose spots with the old wrestlers and thats not good
just hope he stays away from the tittle

    not watching

  12. 12

This old very old fart should just go away, enough already

  13. 13

Yes, but "Hulk Hogan" is a registered trademark of the WWE. You won't be seeing "Hulk Hogan".

  14. 14

I doubt he'll pull off a full time career!

  15. 15

    NOOOOooooooOOOOooooOoooOOooooo!

TNA has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. They are not owned by WWE and never have been. You may be seeing The Hulk Terry Hogan unless he copyrighted the name himself as TNA's Sharkboy did (and has made a killing from his Disney lawsuit alone). Hulk Hogan is 56 and Vince McMahon is 64 and still wrestles. There are lots of guys who wrestle into their late 50's. Its not advisable but to be a wrestler you have to love the challenge and make it your life. If its not you wont make it far. As far as Mick Foley and Kurt Angle, they arent rejects. Wrestlers go from promotion to promotion throughout their careers, thats how they have a career. Sometimes its the promoters fault, sometimes its just time to move to another promotion I see it all the time in the wrestling business. check out www.wwcweb.com and wrestleohio.com

So TNA signs Hulk who is 56 and also Eric Bischoff who is 54 and lastly Rick Flair who is 60 … gimme a break !!!

and people were complaining about Brett Farve who just turned 40 !

  18. 18

As long as he doesn't take the young guys spots (such as AJ, Joe, MMG) he'll be OK. :( still not happy ’bout it though.

Sounds like someone rented and watched multiple times Mickey Rourke's "The Wrestler" and took it a little too seriously. If Hulk's wrestling tights look a little bulky that is his depends diapers for adults.

  20. 20

    sure…

  21. 21

I doubt he'll do any wrestling especially with his injuries and surgeries. Probably some manager stuff or what-not. But with his big name, he'll put TNA out there along with Mick Foley and Kurt Angle.

    Re: TexasBadBoy

Actually, I'm not sure they do. They have to pay a big chunk of change to Marvel Comics for the "Hulk" trademark and always have. Since TNA doesn't have the same deal, I'm not sure what he's 'allowed' to use anymore. I know he was using all kinds of permutations of his name, but… Maybe HE has the deal now, I don't know.

And wrestlers USED to jump from promotion to promotion in the days before Vince took the company over in the early 80s. Then, he steamrolled the competition, including eventually WCW (though we can thank Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff for a LITTLE of that, too, I'd say.) Since then, the WWF/E has been pretty much the only mainstream game in town. Mick was retired, but he was a company man to the bone. To see him show up on another show makes me skeptical about the idea that Vince and Titan Entertainment don't have SOME hand in it. Don't forget who bankrolled ECW.

  23. 23

ummmmm TNA has been on Spike for 7 years, how is that new?

  24. 24

Re: Rockettgirl2000 – I'll do ya one better. Hogan's BEEN THERE before.
