Despite Nick's solo ambitions, the Jonas Brothers have no intention of breaking up!
"We plan to make music together for as long as we can," stated the brothers in a letter to their fans.
Although Kevin is getting married, Nick is going solo and Joe is riding the purity line, they're behind each other 100%!
"We've said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can't break up brothers," writes Nick. "My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me everyday while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn't wait to hear the record."
Plus, Joe and Kevin replied, "We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart."
They could have stopped there, but they're laying it on pretty thick! "A three-chord strand is not easily broken, and one thing's for sure… this three chord strand is stronger now than it's ever been. You are truly the best fans in the world, and we love you with all our hearts."
We have a sweet tooth, but they're giving us a cavity!

Nick is the musical brain behind the Jonas Brothers anyways, even Rolling Stone magazine said so.
And he's by far the cutest.
It's pretty funny how they hired a professional writer to come up with this blog for them, "a three-cord strand is not easily broken…" Yea, they said they will be touring in 2010, but will this end up being a farewell tour?? Remember when Destiny's Child said, "Hey guys, don't worry, we're not breaking up, Beyonce is just working on a solo side-project…" I can't help but think that they are just doing the slow-fade as not to overly shock fans and may never get back together to record another album. Unless of course it's to complete their contract with Hollywood Records (I'm not sure how many albums they originally signed on to do).

I agree. Nick definitely has the potential to do his own thing as a solo act. He has the song writing/singing/musical chops. It's kinda funny how people are talking about what Joe would do if the group split up. Would he do a solo album too? Please, without Nick's writing, Joe would have nothing. I could see him trying to pursue some sort of acting career.

A lot of people are saying that this is going to be like NSYNC when Justin announced a solo project or Destiny's Child when Beyonce went solo. Everyone is forgetting that the bands had already decided to take an actual break and POSSIBLY get back together later on. The Jonas Brothers are not taking any sort of break as a band and are already working on new material for the album next year. It's not like you can actually break up brothers anyway. I feel like they'll go more the route of Hanson. Taylor has Tinted Windows (his side project) but him and his brothers still release albums and tour together.

The difference between Destiny's Child & NSYNC and the Jonas Brothers is that JB are BROTHERS. They will always get along no matter what so it's not like they're gonna suddenly hate each other. The Jonas Brothers aren't breaking up anytime soon. And to the people saying they won't have fans anymore when they go tolder, I think you're so wrong but only time will tell. The fans I know, along with myself, are definately in it for the long run.

Re: sskiles – Joe has already said that he has been to a lot of meetings and has been sent a ton of scripts. He said he will be acting when his schedule is more open next year. He is in huge demand for movies. He's gorgeous, charismatic and he CAN act when he has a decent script to work with. It's Kevin that will fade away. He'll get married and no one will ever see him again. In actuality, Joe will probably be more successful than Nick. Nick may be a good musician and songwriter, but he has the stage presence of a carrot. No charisma or sex appeal at all. He's like cardboard. Joe is the performer in the group. Even Kevin has more style than Nick.

This blog actually made me tear up. I adore JB and everything they've done. As huge as they have gotten, they've never forgotten who got them there
I honestly don't think that the Jonas Brothers will last past 2010. All their music sounds the same and they're getting kind of old. Not old age-wise but over they're two year span of being famous, they have been SOOO overplayed. Jonas Brothers shit EVERYWHERE. I definitely don't think any sane person no matter how young, or how obsessed with them they are, can take any more of that. Why do you think Hannah Montana got played out so fast? Because it's the same crap over and over again and Disney and all the people producing them is shoving them in our faces everytime we turn on the TV or pick up a magazine or go to the store or ever walk down the fucking street. It's annoying and it's getting OLD. I'm a teen myself and I am well-educated in the pop culture world. Ever since three years ago when I saw them perform at the Macy's Thankgiving Day Parade, I knew that they were bound to be a spark in the pan or whatever that's called when something doesn't last long. The only reason they even got this far is because two out of the three of them are somewhat good-looking and Disney doesn't allow their starts to be one-hit wonders. They keep pushing and pushing and pushing them until the people just stop buying it. I do believe that that will also be the Jonas Brothers' fate. Sorry.
