Madonna Tears Up In Malawi

It would have brought a tear to anyone's eye!
Madonna is in Malawi this week, overseeing the construction of her new girl's academy. While in the area, she visited the same orphanage she adopted her young son, David, from. The visit turned out to be a very emotional and rewarding experience.
No, she did not adopt another child.
While the whole family was visiting the orphanage, Madonna and David had the opportunity to see his original crib from when he lived in the confines of the the Home Child Care Center in Mchinji, Malawi. The center's director, Lucy Chipeta, explains:
"It was an emotional moment. David is too young to understand . . . but for us who remember the sickly tiny little baby of 2006, it was hard to hold back tears, including Madonna."

Later, Madonna and her fam visited with some of the other children at the center and it became clear that her efforts with the Raising Malawi charity, which helps fund the center and five others, were not lost on the young ones living there. One child even approached Madge to say: "You are our god. Where could we have been without you?"

You people are ridiculous, the women tries to make a difference and you rip on her. And God forbid she doesn't do something in the US, you rip on her for that too. Like I've said before, how many of you had ever even heard of Malawi before she adopted a kid from there? And how is Madonna a "ho" and an "old skank"? She was married for a decade, hasn't ever been arrested (Paris, Nicole, Mel), considered to be a bad mom (Brit), mad an ass of herself on an awards show (Kanye), gone crazy or been an alcoholic drug addict. Her career has been strong for the past 30 years and her music is far better and more memorable then all her peers (and yes Lambs, Mariah's back catalog isn't nearly as classic as Madonna's). She's clearly really trying to make a difference but instead people trying to bring her down for that to. Plain and simple if you don't like Madonna then quick wasting your fucking time commenting about her on EVERY post.
My Perezcious's Madge the Vadge was quite perturbed when children from the orphanage got into her overnight bag and took all her tubes of Vagisil thinking she had brought them more tooth-paste.

It's great that David will always know where he came from…. BUT will he be reminded of it too much? Will Madonna continue to take him back to these run down orphanages showing him how appreciative he should be that mummy Madonna rescued him?

First of all don’t question my intelligence and not expect a retort. I’m not a self absorbed prick but will call you out on ridiculous accusations or defend myself when necessary. Nor am I some blissfully ignorant 16 year old that thinks music began in 1999 with the debut of Britney and NSYNC. For your information I have extremely eclectic tastes when it comes to music, love everything from the Stones, Billie Holiday, Kanye West (although I despise him as a person), Kings of Leon, and Stevie Wonder to MJ, Madonna etc. I think music should make you feel good, teach you about life experience or inspire you. That’s what Madge’s music does for me and countless others which is why I admire her so much. I also think she’s been vilified in the media as of late for her good deeds and it really annoys me. Did it ever occur to people that she has more money then she’ll ever possibly need so maybe she’s doing stuff like this out of the goodness of her heart? Maybe she actually believes in these causes? Clearly she cared enough to adopt 2 children from Malawi and didn’t forget about it. That alone is more than most celebrities who have “causes” near and dear to their hearts….for a good 5 months and then move onto the next trend.

NOT only do you financially create wonderful environments for children to safely grow in; you TAKE the time to be with David's extended family. THIS is international adoption as it should be for anyone. David needs to have an attachment to his roots; he is that same child and will always be. And these children get the fun of telling everyone that Madonna takes care of them. I adore you Ms. Madgesty. KEEP it up!! And; I hope your wonderful books are part of the curriculum. I love them, also. I pray constantly that Elton John and his wonderful spouse can enjoy this type of adoption/blessing situation together with the Ukraine peoples as they prepare to bring a child or two into their home.
