Rob Zombie Quits Record Label
After being with Geffen Records for 18 years, Rob Zombie is leaving the label and moving on to Roadrunner Records.
Zombie claims that Geffen didn't give him enough time to promote his new album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2, before it's November 9th release. We think he might be right because it's the first we've heard of it.
Under Roadrunner the album will hit shelves sometime next year giving the rocker ample time to get the word out.
Zombie says:
"It certainly wasn't an easy decision to make after all this time, but it had to be done. I love this new record and wanted to surround myself with an excited new group of people who can reignite my enthusiasm for working within a hard rock record label. Roadrunner seems to be the perfect place."

I kind of thought his creative outlet was now directing horror films. That is not to say you can't have 1, 2, or 3(olives vodka sucks) creative outlets.

Look up what Vesper martini is. It's my favorite drink so it was easy to decide what i was going to call it. Here's a tip, looking too beautiful on that halloween was maybe my fave moment of all. Sounds like the right shit label for him. He hasn't done anything original since White Zombie broke up. His films are sacreligious to horror. He fits in perfectly with Nickleback and Slipknot. Hasbeen city.

i fucking love rob zombie, and its a shame they didnt promote his album. i cant wait to hear it, although im not a huge fan of roadrunner, some shit bands on there.
