If she were anywhere else in America, her ass would be in an orange jumpsuit picking garbage off the freeway with the other inmates.
Instead, we have to read that The Hills sweetheart pain-in-the-ass Stephanie Pratt has been formally charged with suspicion of DUI today after her arrest two weeks ago in Hollywood.
Um, excuse us, but there is nothing to be "suspicious" about! The idiot registered a .08 and .09 on her TWO breathalyzer tests. That .09 puts her ABOVE the legal limit!
If she is convicted, then she will face up to six months in jail.
So there is hope for that orange jumpsuit after all!

it's her first offense and she will not go to jail….try not to get too excited perez.
Probation and community service should suffice as a sentence and don't forget the alcohol and driving education classes. Can the brother be charged with being an asshole?
I just think it's funny, she's a total hypocrite. She tells Heidi's sister that she has a drinking problem and lo and behold she can even make good decisions when she's drunk! Dumbass
I swear, Perez, or whoever writes this shit, is an idiot. It's called 'suspicion' of DUI because she hasn't been convicted of it yet. There is something in this country called innocent until proven guilty, ever heard of it? If and when she is convicted, she will then be 'guilty' of DUI.

Enough with the hyperbole. There is nowhere else in the nation where an unconvicted individual would be working a chain gang for a first or second offense DUI. Try to keep some perspective here: the chick weighs about a hundred pounds. One glass of wine would put her BAC at .06. Given that, she could plausibly have had less than a glass and a half of wine in the hour prior to departing, be completely in control of her faculties, and still registered a fail on the breathalyzer. Does that make it okay for her to drive? No. Does that make it okay for Internet cockroach Perez Hilton to malign, disparage and generally be an asshole when speaking about her? Also no.

Um…"suspicion" of a DUI is the standard. They can't charge her of "committing" a DUI because she hasn't had her case yet. Perez, are you smoking crack this morning because your post makes no sense. She got the same charge as anyone else.

Prez, once again you are making zero sense. Why would she be in an orange jumpsuit picking up garbage? She hasn't been convicted, just charged. If she is convicted, then her punishment will be handed down. BTW, you can get charged with a DUI at ANY blood alchohol level if they really want to mess with you. All they have to do is have evidence you are imparied, and you are at any bal, although a good attorney could probably get you out of it if you are below .08. But that's after losing your license while you wait for the court date, paying for an attorney, having an arrest on your record, etc. It never pays to drink and drive.

Perez, in most states, breathalyzer tests are not usable in a court of law. You have to get a blood test giving the actual alcohol content because breathalyzers are not always accurate (it's like a lie detector test). I'll be the last to stand up for her because I think she's a waste of space but we already pay too much for people in jail. I see no reason to add her to the bunch considering she really isn't a danger to others. Give her some community service and let her disappear.

B.S. Perez, I live in Ohio and it takes multiple DUI's before anyone around here see's any jail time.
For all those who claim her per hour drinking must be one or two drinks because of her size you are correct, but at the same time that also means she is quicker to be impaired by that drinking or in the extreme case will get drunk more quickly or easily.
She will just have to suffer with one drink an hour if she wants to safely and legally drive.

I got a DUI about 2 yrs ago, and this is what I got:
3 years probation (still on it.), $1600 fine, 6 months suspended license (for the last 4 I was able to get a restrictive license to and from work only), 3 months alcohol education class (which costs like $500something to take). They towed my car and I got it the next morning- paid $120 to the police station to release it and another $100 to the impound to get it back. Oh, and I only spent like 1 1/2 hrs handcuffed to a bench at the station because the cells were full with men, so no room for me. My point here is, no jail sentence… but definitely a pain in the ass! And yes, biggest regret of my life… and one more thing… it can happen to anyone! trust me.

Not trying to excuse drinking & driving but NOBODY is going to jail on a first time DUI offense. Especially since she only blew a .09!!!! In most states as long as you blow a .12 or under & it's your first offense it will always get reduced to a reckless op or failure to control charge. And, that, fatass, is why she wont be picking trash off the highway in an orange jumpsuit. Retard.
First off, a failed breathalyzer just means you were over the limit when you took the test. It doesn't prove you were drunk when driving, it takes 30 minutes for the body to start abosrbing alcohol and you can fight that. If she had a shot before she left and was pulled over, her body hadn't absorbed that alcohol until later…thus, she may not have been "under the influence" at the scene.
Secondly, its a first offense she isn't going to jail. That is for dumbasses who run, don't show up to court, blow off the judges orders, etc.
Lastly, You're a piece of shit for wanting people to go to jail. I know you probably think of it as some kind of gay-resort get-away but it isn't.
This post is ridiculous. For one, it's her first offense, and being .01 above the limit pretty much GUARANTEES a wet and reckless, not a DUI. She will NEVER go to jail for this…EVER. And two, breathalyzers can be wrong! There's such a thing as rising blood/alcohol level, and people have gotten off before. When you're charged with a crime, we have a constitutional right to a fair trial, and just because she's a bit of a wreck doesn't mean she doesn't deserve what we ALL get. This isn't about celebrities getting away with things. This actually shows that celebrities, at least some of them, are treated just like anyone would be. And three, it's a "suspicion" because she's innocent until proven guilty! You really want to get rid of that?!

Erm Perez, if that is 0.8 or 0.9 above the legal limit, then the police in your country is really lazy, or really picky about stopping drivers.
Go to a restaurant and order a nice meal, and you have alcohol in your blood, because they make sauces with a base of red wine, white whine, whisky (cocktailsauce) gin, even brandy.
We in Belgium are that smart, because our legal limit is 0.5 parts per million. It actually used to be 0.8, so 0.9 isn't that big of deal. 0.5 btw is an equivalent of 2 normal beers.
My oppinion, she's done nothing wrong, she was just unlucky!
